[First Meet-6] Exposed.

"Sir, we can see his movements. He's following the plan as expected," Mark reported, eyes glued to his laptop.

"Let's wait for things to heat up a bit more," Cain replied calmly.

"Sir, we've got a lead!" Mark exclaimed,

Cain gritted his teeth with anger, he wanted to tear Dr Hensley down, for his betrayal and whoever was involved in this.

Excitement creeped in as Mark continued "It's the NJ Center—they have a record of being the top organ transplant organization in Marloz. The funds were transferred to Dr. Hensley by someone under the name 'Trifen Eldos.' What should we do next?"

Cain stood from his seat, heading toward the exit. "Now that we've tracked down his traders, let's catch him in action."

Within minutes, they arrived at an abandoned section of the hospital. As they entered, a sharp, unpleasant odor hit them. Cain held his breath while Mark coughed slightly, the sound enough to alert those inside.

Assuming it was his assistant, Sister Milly, entering, Dr. Hensley hurriedly called out, "Milly, come quickly! We don't have much time. Transfer all these...fresh products into the sealed container."

When he heard no response, he looked up from the body on the table. His face went pale as his eyes met Cain's, who stood there, silently observing. The artery clamp in his hand slipped, clattering onto the floor.

"Oh my, did we interrupt your work, Dr. Hensley?" Cain smirked, raising an eyebrow.

Dr. Hensley stood there, speechless, his heart racing as he realized any excuse would fall flat. No amount of reasoning could justify the situation nor was Cain a fool to accept his excuses. So, it was a lame idea to even try to convince him.

Gulping down his hesitation and anxiety he took a sharp breath. "How? Mr Willson." He glared at Cain. He wanted to know how after all these years he was caught off guard. He pretended to be the perfect doctor and stayed loyal just to continue with his work. But all of sudden, how did Cain suspect him?

Cain's expression remained steady. "You were anxious after the sudden news about the camp, weren't you? Well, let me tell you. There's nothing like a camp. This was all just planned to let you make a foolish move, which you did, and after listening to the sudden idea of camp It's only natural you'd move your delivery schedule forward to avoid suspicion." His eyes scanned the equipment around him, a faint smirk still on his lips.

Before Dr. Hensley could respond, Sister Milly's voice interrupted them. "Sir, we're out of containers."

"Not a problem, Sister. I'll arrange for more," Mark replied, moving closer to the door through which she entered. The unfamiliar voice made her look up and she froze in horror. As realization dawned, she glanced at Dr. Hensley in silent panic.

He sighed in frustration,

"We've been discovered, Milly."

Panicked, Milly tried to escape, but Mark caught her instantly. "Nice try, Sister. Did you have a leg transplant? Or was that just adrenaline making you this fast at your age?" he mocked.

"Tell the hired staff to clean this mess and take them to the port," Cain ordered before turning to leave. With a final menacing look at Dr. Hensley, he added, "Have your men take care of his allies."

As Cain turned to go, Dr. Hensley yelled. "Kill me now, Mr. Wilson!"

Cain paused, intrigued. "Oh? And why's that?"

"I'd rather die now than endure whatever twisted punishment you've planned. I know what kind of a monster you are." Dr. Hensley sneered.

Dr Hensley moved closer. As anger and shock consumed him he shouted at Cain. "And what makes you better than me, Doctor? We're on the same page, aren't we? You kill people and dispose of them, just as I do. But at least my work gives others a chance at life. What gives you the right to judge and punish me?" Hensley spat, his voice shaking with anger.

Cain's smirk faded. "Because you're a doctor while I am, as you said, a monster of the underworld. There's a clear line."

As he reached the door, he looked back one last time. "Had you done it openly instead of running an illegal organ racket, I'd have funded your work and given you worldwide acclaim. But you chose the wrong path."

Left alone with Mark and his men, Before coming to the hospital Mark had arranged everything, From security to the pens with built-in cameras, as he called his mens, they came in within seconds. Dr. Hensley realized they were outnumbered. Grabbing a scalpel, he lunged at Mark. But Mark was faster; he pulled a thin wire from his sleeve, and handed the wire and sister Milly to the man behind him in black suit. The man ties Sister Milly's hands and holds her aside, While Mark pointed his gun at Hensley. Two of Cain's subordinates entered, securing both Hensley and Milly.

Now curious more than scared, Dr. Hensley asked, "How did you find out about the NJ Center?"

"Remember the pens we gave everyone as a gift after the last meeting? They had built-in cameras." Mark smirked.

The cleanup was swift, transforming the once-secretive room into a space that would appear as a hospital wing under renovation. By evening, news broke of Dr. Hensley's tragic "accident." Reports said the impact had been so severe, no remains were found.

Meanwhile, Cain's orders were clear: Hensley and Milly would be kept at the port with the organs they'd trafficked becoming their grim sentence.

Elsewhere, Claire sat at home, scrolling through her phone, frustrated by Cain's recent treatment of her. A notification popped up:

Renowned surgeon and top doctor at Medwin Hospital, Dr. Hensley, has passed away in a car accident. Investigators are still examining the scene.

She froze, unable to process the news. She had seen Dr. Hensley alive just hours before. Grabbing her coat, she rushed to the hospital. There, she found a crowd paying respects by his portrait. As the crowd dispersed, her eyes landed on Mark, who was standing nearby. She approached him cautiously.

"Is this true? Did—"

"Oh, our little spy is here." Mark chuckled, cutting her off.

"Mark, I'm serious," she said, exasperated but keeping a polite smile as the other staff members walked past.

"Come on. Let's go," he replied, winking.

Claire followed him, piecing together that Dr. Hensley was indeed guilty. When they reached the now-cleared area, she was astonished by the transformation; it looked nothing like the scene she'd imagined. Cain's gaze met hers, cold and unreadable, before he dismissed her presence entirely.

Feeling awkward and ashamed for accusing him, Claire stammered, "I...I think there was a misunderstanding." She laughed, embarrassed.

Cain's gaze turned steely as he stepped forward, backing her into a corner. Inches from her face, he lowered his voice. "No one talks to me that way, Claire Miller. Let me remind you: you called me a 'jerk,' a 'bastard,' a 'shitbag,' and even told me to 'go to hell.'" His fingers ticked off each insult.

Claire bit her lips, finding no answer to his allegations, feeling the pressure, Claire gathered her courage. "W-well, you called me a... spy," she retorted weakly, realizing her words paled in comparison.

Cain moved closer, barely an inch between them, his voice low. "So...now you believe me?" Swallowing hard, Claire nodded. Cain smirked, releasing her wrist as he stepped back.

"You wouldn't have dealt with Dr Hensley, if you were also a part of this. So, I figured that you are not guilty." She rubbed her nose as the smell of fresh paint irritated her.

Cain looked at her, amused. "Oh, you do have some brain left?" he mocked.

Claire rolled her eyes to his sarcasm.

Mark entered the room as he had something to report to him. Claire took her leave and walked away.

"Sir, you as per my observation, you have met Miss Claire 3-4 times, which you usually don't do with anyone." Mark commented as he chuckled.

"Shut up, if you don't want to be next to Dr Hensley." Cain glaired. But he knew that Claire's antique and shenanigans did amuse him and caught him off-guard every time they met.
