Cultivation is Now in Class: Part 2
The class didn't pay attention as to what I had said for they were too focused on cultivating. I didn't pay much attention to them since the first stages is always a safe and guaranteed breakthrough until you reach the foundation realm.
"So this was the method you had used to become stronger, certainly I feel like my magic has gotten slightly stronger.", Ferdinand Reias says while forming a mana sphere on his hand.
"But you said that we were merely in the first stages, does that mean that there are stages in this power?", Ferdinand Reias asks while sternly looking at me.
"There are certainly stages in cultivation. The magicians have what you call mana rings and the knights have the mana sword stages, we martial artists have what we call realms.", I calmly say while looking at the students cultivating.
"There are seven mortal realms which all of you are currently in, and once you have reached the ascension stage, you are then ready to ascend to a higher plane which are known as the immortal realms.", I say.
"Then may I kindly ask which realm have I reached?", Ferdinand kindly asks me.
"After feeling your power, you're already at the golden core stage which is a part of the mortal realms that I have said.", I say.
The students went to a state of confusion as to why they couldn't breakthrough anymore. They went through multiple breakthroughs without knowing that you'd need sufficient qi to breakthrough and they had already used up their qi.
I stopped them and sent them back to their dormitories with a qi breathing technique so that they could rest and unconsciously breathe in qi at the same time.
The next morning had came and astoundingly everybody was already brimming with qi especially Lyla, Ahren, and Delia. Their qi was enough for them to reach the first stages of the foundation realm. I had continued my lessons in magic that I had learned inside the books in the library. I do have my own set of magic but I don't really know how to set it in words.
Magic is the function to shape and form the world through mana and one's mind, a magician can produce fire out of thin air by changing the attributes of the mana that is scattered around the world. Mana are usually neutral but its attribute could change depending on the region it is in like if a mana particle is in a cold region, it could turn into the mana's attribute into cold. A person's mana attribute could also change to different attributes depending on the mana inside them, they manipulate the mana through words and change the attribute through their minds, that is why reading books is an essential training for newborn magicians who've only reached the first mana ring.
The manipulation of mana was first found out about through drawings or also known as 'runes', a man was drawing scribbles until one of his drawings lit on fire which made that man drew more, then came a woman which attempted to activate magic without the use of runes but rather through words by casting out words that described the magic's function. It had seemed as if magic has certain ways to activate which had different results, which made the magic research institute or people call as the Magic Tower experimenting magic through different methods.
By releasing a mana particle with a certain attribute through a person's will, that particle would touch the mana particles with no attribute and change it. I don't have mana with different attributes but I do have 'qi' which everything can be manipulated with.
After the theoretical class have come to an end, the students can then go to different teachers who are adept in a single attribute to learn from, like miss Clementine who's family is a master in the fire attribute. Although some students didn't go and stayed with me instead to learn more about techniques and cultivation, and one of them was Delia North who also wanted to learn magic and it had seemed that she is in a family who masters the ice attribute.
"Professor Angel, I would like to learn ice magic from you.", Delia North says in front of me.
