THIRD PERSON POV
“Kevin? Where are you going?” Abby asked as she saw the retreating figure of Kevin tiptoeing out of her room. She heard Kevin take a deep breath as if he was really disappointed that he got caught. He slowly turned to face a confused-looking Abby sitting on the bed, staring up at him. His eyes held nothing but sadness in them. “Ah, I needed to be somewhere, Abby. So, I was just leaving. Thank you for last night though, you didn’t have to do what you did for me.” With that, he turned around again but was stopped by Abby gripping his forearm tightly.
“What do you mean I didn’t have to do that? Of course, I did. You are one of the most important people in my life, Kevin,” Abby said, looking at him with pleading eyes, but he just scoffed at this.
“Didn’t feel like it when you lied to me to go and make out with your douche of a boyfriend.”
“That was not planned, Kevin, and trust me, I was going to tell you about it,” Abby sighed.
