Third person POV
The day after the success of Akira's quest for a new weapon, Akira and Hachi's basic training as junior detectives is now officially finished, and at the Shibata Supernatural Agency's briefing room, both of them are given their certificates of completion and detective's badges by Toshi and Masashi with Valentino's support. Most of the employees in the agency are present applauding their achievement in such a young age. Because of that, both boys were happy and accepted it with gratitude. Now that they had weapons of their own, both Akira and Hachi can now do cases, both supernatural-related and regular, on their own. But there are some cases that are too hard for them to handle so Toshi and Valentino are needed for those hard cases. For now, they are now official junior detectives.
At the same time, at the Kara Tech headquarters, Wao and his members, who comprised the headquarters' governing body known as the Upper Members, are in the meeting room discussing about their next ventures in the realm of technology and experimentation involving humans. One of the members, Naito Komori, suggested new experiments for a superanimal in the form of a giant bat. Wao then took that suggestion and pondered on it, wondering about its benefits and aftereffects to his organization. Then, two of the Upper Members stated their objections, but Naito insisted his suggestion as a good one. Wao then agreed with Naito while thinking about abducting Akira in the most stealth way possible.
