Love is in the air

Mario was right, Noel's operation goes well and success. Mario was very proud of Dr. Hanson, and thanked her.

"T-thank you Dr. Hanson, you're...er...very good doctor...and go-gorgeous." he said, shaking Kimmy's hand. He can't even let go of her hand after thanking her. Kimmy smiled at him, casually. It was the best thing ever; her smile. She pulled out her hand from his grip.

"It's my duty Sir Farell." she said.

"I must tell you this sir Farell, that your brother will be able to live for ten years only. she added seriously. Mario's heart breaks as he heard this. He had expected that his brother will not live longer in this world. He felt warm when Kimmy put her hand on his shoulder.

"You need to stay strong." she said.

"I...yeah." said Mario. "Uhmmm... by the way, just call me Mario."

~ Tessa's POV ~

Tessa was just walking to get a medicine for her patient when she saw her best friend, Kimmy talking with a good looking guy. She can't believe her own eyes as she saw Kimmy holding his shoulder and what more, they were smiling at each other.

"ooohhh am I dreaming?" whispered Tessa to herself. "You better get ready for your explanation my dear friend Kimmy." Tessa chuckled and can't help giggling. She continues her walk, energetically. She's very glad to see Kimmy with a guy, it's very rare and she can tell that they have a good chemistry.

"Adam come here!"

Adam, hastily walks towards his boss. They were at the rooftop of the hospital, have planned something on their target.

"Boss I'm here now. Richard's daughter is in her office, she's perfectly alone." panted Adam.

"That's great, Adam. Now we need to move while she's alone." said the boss. He wear his mask and a hood on his head.

"Come on, quick!" he murmured, urgently and impatiently. The two men hastily go downstairs on the way to Kimmy's office.

Kimmy was planning to stay late night here in the hospital. She will entertain herself by reading medical books. She got disturbed by a sudden knock on her door.

Mario was accompanying his motionless brother when he felt his stomach rumbled. He go outside of the room to buy some food at the canteen. He was about to enter the elevator when he heard a familiar scream nearby.

~ Kimmy's POV ~

When Kimmy opened the door, two tall, muscular masked men entered her office.

"No!" she screamed as the masked man released a sharp knife from his pocket.

"Shut up young lady." said the man.

"No I won't, I'll call for help---- HELP!!" cried Kimmy. The man with a hood grabs her one arm, and pointed a gun to her stomach.

"One more word and I'll kill you." He whispered, sharply. Kimmy was now sweating with nervous and fear, but she hid it and just glared bravely at the masked man. Suddenly, the door banged open. Kimmy turned to look. Then she felt relieved when she saw Mario standing there, looking anxious and brave.

"Sh*t!" said the other man.

"Adam, run." whispered the hooded man. Mario was about to punch one of them, but the man kicked his stomach and ran.

"Sir Farell!" called Kimmy, and she walks towards him who was clutching his stomach.

"Are you alright?" she asked. But instead of answering, Mario pulled her in to a hug.

"Glad you're safe." He said, stroking her hair.

Adam and his boss was on a run. They successfully get outside of the hospital and escaped the bodyguards ( they were good at escaping).

"Boss, why did you act cowardly when that stupid guy arrived?" said Adam as they got back to their hiding place. The boss scowled at him.

"We mustn't get caught by the policemen or else our big boss will kill us." He said, furiously. Adam merely nodded.

Tessa went to Kimmy's office when she heard a strange noise. Her mouth fell open as she saw her stubborn best friend hugged by a handsome guy. 'Oh gosh I must be dreaming' she thought. Kimmy and Mario broke apart. Kimmy's mind was not working well, she don't know why she let Mario hugged her. They stared at each other for a moment.

"Ehem," Tessa coughed dramatically.

Kimmy hastily break the eye contact and was surprised to see her best friend. She knows that she will tease her later.

"Dr. Hanson, I thought I've heard a noise?" said Tessa, indifferently, she was trying to hold her laughter as her best friend blushes.

"Dr. Hanson has been attacked by two men." Mario answered her.

"Attacked?" said Tessa, she walks towards Kimmy and check her if there's something wrong with her.

"Who the bloody hell attacked my dear best friend? Are you hurt Kimmy? come to my office so that I can check you up." said Tessa, worriedly.

"Oh come on Tessa, I'm okay, and you've forgotten that I'm a doctor." said Kimmy, touched by her best friend's concern.

"Dr. Hanson, are you sure you're okay?" asked Mario, looking at her.

"Sir Farell, I'm okay and thank you for rescuing me. I might be dead if you haven't come." said Kimmy, smiling at him. Tessa holds her giggle.

"I told you, just call me Mario." He said, kindly. Kimmy nodded, and throws a warning look at Tessa who cannot longer hold her giggle.

"You should go back to your brother, sir... I mean Mario." Kimmy told him, casually. Mario smiled as she addresses him by his name.

Tessa folded her arms and looks at her quizzically when Mario leaves.

"What is it, Dr. Mitch?" she said.

"Well, I saw you and that Mario guy having a sweet moments with my bare eyes two times today." said Tessa, clearly.

Kimmy furrowed her eyebrows.

"We're not having sweet moments and I'm not interested to him." she said, coolly.

"Did I asked you if you are interested to him?" teased Tessa. Kimmy rolled her eyes.

"Hmmm... love is in the air." said Tessa, smiling widely to her.
