Chapter 89 - The search begins

Nico's heart raced as he dashed around the pack house, his mind swirling with worry and confusion. The chaos of the recent attack still hung heavy in the air, but now there was a new urgency, a new fear gripping him tightly. Where was Matt? And why had he taken Elijah?

Frantic searches turned up empty. There was no trace of Matt or Elijah anywhere nearby. Nico's anxiety only grew with each passing moment. He couldn't shake the feeling of dread that settled like a heavy weight in his chest.

"Why did he have to beat up Avery for that? Why... why did he take him?" Nico muttered to himself, his voice thick with worry. But there were no answers, no explanations to calm his racing thoughts.
