ch 5

The last thing I know which happened was that I was sitting on the sofa with my mom in my arms and watching TV. I don't know when but somehow I fallen asleep. I wake up and look towards the wall clock hanging on the wall on top of the TV. I saw that the time is 3:45 PM, Meaning currently is afternoon. I was the only one on the sofa I didn't see my mom but I could hear some noices coming from the kitchen so I guess that she has started cooking for dinner.

I get up and first went to the bathroom and freshen up myself. then I thought about what to do but nothing came to mind. Finding nothing to do I thought about going to my room which was on the 1st floor. I was going towards my room and just as I placed my foot on the first stair to going upstairs towards my room. My mom called me from the kitchen loudly and said " Honey! Can you go to grocery store and buy mom some chilli sauce!"

I stopped at my track and said " Okay mom!" then My mom said " Thank you honey! the money is in the drawer beside the Sofa!"

I said " Got it! mom." Then I move towards the Sofa where mom and I were sitting and saw the drawer beside it which doesn't have any lock system. I open the drawer and saw some cash, diary, pen and other stationary items. I took 120 Dina from the drawer and closed it. then I go out of the house and move towards the Grocery store which was just two minutes walking from my house.

I came near the store and saw that not many customers were present so I directly went in. well even if many customers were present I still had to go in to buy the chilli sauce though.

I went in and met a middle aged man with little fat body and little bald head in the middle and hairs on the sides. This person is the owner of this shop. His name is Rajed Sulta. And he is living in this town from the very start. I mean, I don't know about Rajed uncle's history but I know that I have seen him from my youngest age, so yeah.

He looked at me and said with smile. " My my my, Who suddenly remembered this old man's shop huh. Sehan, I haven't seen you for many days kid. Where were you?" I look at uncle Rajed and said with smile. " I was studying at home for examination that is why I wasn't able to come to the store." Hearing me uncle Rajed nodded and said " Good good very good. A student should study more diligently and make good results. good good your future is bright hahaha." and laughed.

After calming down Uncle Rajed said " From the study word I remembered that today is actually the result day. right?" I nodded and said. " yeah, today is the Result day."

Uncle Rajed nodded and said " So, how was it? Everything is good?" He doesn't even waited for my reply and started giving his pep talk with discount "don't worry for today I will give you special discount of 5%. So don't be sad if you didn't make it. You should learn from your mistakes so you can achieve better results in the future. Don't worry if you are failed there is always a chance as long as we live. so never lose hope. I know it is hard but you can do it. Maybe today is not your day but that doesn't mean that tomorrow would be the same. you have done hard work so you will get good result too not now then later. Life is all about ups and downs so don't worry too much. when you are sad you can cry and when you are happy you should laugh. life is journey so don't worry..." And uncle Rajed's motivational and Emotional advice with mixture of thousand of quotes spilled at the same time. well this is how he actually is. he is really caring person and even someone like me would be listen to his talk for sometime but he is very talkative because of which I have to broke the speech in the middle.

" Uncle, Uncle, I am passed so don't worry. everything is okay." I said urgently. Uncle Rajed look at me and said with smile. " then all is okay. good very good, keep struggling and get higher in the sky just by your achievements."

"Okay uncle thank you." I said with smile. After that I asked uncle " Uncle can you get me the chilli sauce. My mom Ask me to get it urgently." Uncle Rajed nodded and asked a worker to bring a 250g Chilli sauce bottle to the counter. The worker did his work fast and I got the item I wanted and pay 120 Dina for it. I said My goodbye to uncle Rajed and came to home after 2 minutes of walking. I directly go towards the kitchen and saw my mom cutting vegetables on the kitchen platform and some ingredients were boiling in the utensils which were on the stove.

I said " Mom, I brought the chilli sauce." My mom look towards my direction when she heard my voice and said " Thank you honey." then she again busy herself with the vegetable cutting and I didn't disturb her. I put the chilli sauce bottle in the Fridge and Look around the kitchen. I saw the unwashed dishes at the sink so I started doing dish washing. My mom said that it's okay but I said that I am bored so let me help her. And I started washing the dishes which only took 20 minutes. then I helped her with cutting some vegetables. I don't know how to cook but cutting vegetables is okay.

After doing that I sweep the kitchen floor with sweeper. When all of this was over the sun had already gone down and dark evening started to come. I finished the job after that I asked my mom " Mom, do you need my help with any other thing?" My mom shook her head and said " Everything is over. When your dad come back from work we will have dinner. After that some TV then sleep." then She look at me again but this time differently. this time she sized me up from head to toe and asked me " What is going on honey? Did something happened? why you help me so much? Did the sun rose from wrong direction?"

Hearing this my eyebrows twitched but I was still able to maintain my smile. I said " What do you mean by Sun rose up from wrong direction. it is just that I was bored because I don't have anything to study and I am not in the mood for reading anything. So I was bored and That is Why I was able to help you. I am thinking about taking some rest for few days before going to the capital city."

My mom heard what I said and the she said " Oh" but after that she become sad for some reason and come towards me. and without even saying anything she directly hugged me. I was surprised at first because of her sudden attack but calm myself down and hug her back. After hugging for sometime she said " I will really miss you honey." and I replied "me too mom."

After hugging for some minutes she finally loosen her grip and release me. She still looked sad but better than before. well who can blame her. I was with her for so many years and never left her side but now I have to and She knows that too because of which she doesn't stopped me. but my absence will still affect her life and I think same thing will happen for me too...probably.
