Letting go doesn't mean you stop caring. It means you stop trying to force others to. ---- Anonymous
Letting go means we choose to use the lessons that the person and experience had to teach us and we "let go" of the need to control the outcome, or try to change what has already happened, or use it to ruminate in regret or anger. Louie knew all about this, he already let go of the woman whom he had loved, who he had a promise, but he didn't intend to keep, and the mother of his children. But letting go doesn't mean he can't be there for them, rather he will always be there in the shadow, giving love, care, protection, and even support to them.
