Recovery

Day 28 of Peak Fire Month, Re'Kha opened her eyes as her sight was blurry. She slowly regained enough clarity to look around as she noticed a group of nurses shuttling around from one place to another in a hurry, administering aid to the patients sleeping in numerous beds.

She got up, feeling sluggish from having not moved her body for long. There was a sense of weakness pervading her body, preventing her from exerting strength in her actions. She then looked at her hand, noticing a drip solution had been attached to her, supplying her with nutrition, 'How long was I unconscious?'

A nurse then came before her, checking her pulse immediately, "Good, you are alright now."

She then motioned for Re'Kha to remain seated for the time being, "A nurse will help you later once we finish checking your body's state."

"How…long was I unconscious?" Re'Kha looked around, noticing that she was within a hospital now.
