Secret in the mansion - part 2

What she saw when she opened the door made her take a step back. She hung on tight to the blanket that was around her and stayed still stunned at what she was seeing.

Realising the sudden change in Adrienne Aiden slowly approached her and for a moment he had no words in his mouth to bring out.

A girl was in there, with her face ripped apart, her hands and legs tied with a rope.

"Adrienne. "He shook her by the shoulders to bring her back. "I am going to call the police, someone deliberatly did this to put you or me into this."

"Aiden no, we can just get rid of this body here. No one will know if we do that."

"No this is to trap both of us. You just get out of here, just get dressed in any dress that you can find in my room. Its not wise to touch anything in this room."

To him it was something he never expected to happen in his life.

He had seen somone getting killed that brutally but his mind kept telling him that someone is trying to trap him or Adrienne in someone kind of a net to ruin their lives.

He was sure that it was not because they were in a relationship and he ended up concluding that this is out of a personal grudge.

"Vinil!" he shouted the name of the butler and took his phone out.

The butler came running upstares upon hearing his name. "Yes master may I know how I can help you?"

"Were you the one who did that?" He pointed his hand at the open closet.

"What is it master?" he walked towards the closet and too was stunned from what he just saw. He lost his balance and fell down onto the floor scared and shivering.

"Master what is this?"

"Thats the question I should be asking you. Adrienne wasnt in this room and she just opened the closet that means that you are the only one who had access to this closet."

"Just stop lying and come out clean, if everyone here is honest there wont be anything for any of us to worry about and as long as you are willing to come out clean I will not call the police and repot this to anyone."

"Just tell me now," Aiden leaned onto the door and looked at his butler who was truly stunned from what he just saw.

He just couldn't annalyse his behaviour, "is he more of a psychopath than I am or is it just a good actor plus a psychopath who is just pretending to be innocent?"

"Master trust me, I did not do this."

"Alright then, I am going to call the polce and ask them to solve this. Its not like I dont trust you its just that I cant believe that someone dared to sneak something like this into my property."

He took his phone from the pocket dialled 119,

"This is 911, whats your emmergency?"

"Hello I am calling to report a murder."

"Mister are you sure about what you are talking about, if you are alright could you please elaborate on the situation?"

"My girlfriend and I came to my vacationhouse and we both was spending some time in my room and we returned back to her room to get her some clothes.

That is when we saw a body of a woman who seems to be in her early 20s. Could you please send the police here soon, we didn't touch anythng other than for opening the closet."

"Yes Mister, may I have your name?"

"Aiden Pheonix."

"We will send help as soon as possible please kindly wait and dont touch anything as it may destroy the crime scene."

"Okay and Thank you."

He put an end to the call and signaled Adrienne to come out of the room. She came out of the room and they both quickly went back to his room, he offered her a sweater and a sweat shirt of his as her clothes were two dirty.

After getting dressed they both came out of the room and waited for police to arrive.

Only about 10 minutes passed, they both could hear the sirens slowly getting closer. Aiden knew from the begining that the police wont keep their cars parkled outside. He was sure about the fact that they would come across the small road with plants.

But he was relived, he didnt mind that as long as Adrienne was not going to be taken as a suspect. He knew that the moment they take her with them, her cover will be blown and they will consider her the culprit considering her past.

He went down with Adrienne upon hearing the knock on the door and opened the door to the officers who was waiting to barge in.

"You guys reported a murder right?"

"Yes we did," Aiden answered.

"Please come with me," Aiden said leading the way. Aiden Adrienne and 5 other police officers arrived in the room. Aiden clearly saw that except for the senior police officer all the other officers was shaking from head to toe.

And this was how anyone who sees such a seen would act. It was not a normal murder case.

"Are you guys sure that anyone who is here didnt do this? If any one of you are involved in this you can confess it right now before everything gets messy."

"Young man please come out with her," the police officer walked out of the room with Aiden and Adrienne.

"You own this house right?" The officer asked.

"Yes I actually do. If you would like to see the documents I can get them for you."

"How long have you owned this house?"

"Roughtly for 8 to 9 years now. I dont remember the exact time of the year I bought this house."

"And how old are you now?"

"26, officer."

"So you are telling me that you bought this house when you were 17 years old."

"Yes that is correct," Aiden replied.

"Come to think of it you look too cool for somone who have seen a dead body and you too young lady."

"Well I used to medical student so I dont think that something like this can initimidiate me," Aiden quickly replied s he couldnt blow his cover as an psychopath.

The true reason why he wasnt surprised was, he too had killed people but not this horribly.

"Oh I see," the police oficer said with a smirk on his face. "So what is your occupation now?"

"Well do you really need to know about all these stuff when you already know my name, and the next thing I can tell you is my social security number. I dont see a reason why I should tell you my occupation."

"Young man, do you know among the things that refuse to trust rich spoiled children are one of them and from head to bottom you seem like one."

"Before I get all the personnel information on you, I would like to know your occupation."

"This is the chair person of the phoenix group," Adrienne quickly said realising that going against the police officer wont do both of them any good.

"OOh as expected, I wondered why I felt like I have heard of your name. So you are the young master of the phoenix group?"

"Yes I am, I hope my secretary answered your question."

"Well you keep calling her your secretary, but to me she doesnt seem like one."
