Chapter 98

Two hours later he was back, laden down with groceries. As always, when he was, he took the elevator up to the second floor. As the door opened, a man was standing there he didn’t recognize and Tony almost panicked. Then he saw the guy was wearing paint-spattered overalls. One of Sanders’ men checking things out, he figured. He smiled as he got off the elevator, walking the few steps to his apartment. When he glanced back, the man was nowhere in sight and the elevator doors were closing.

After putting away his groceries, Tony spent time on the computer answering his email and surfing the web, before going into his bedroom to try to decide what to wear for his date with Kirk.
