004 Nathan's Family

Looking across the street, Nathan couldn't belive its been five months since his biological family reached out to him, his biological mom was the all time famous actress "Besty Hoffman" and hid dad the biggest hotshot lawyer with the biggest law firm in Los Angeles "Taylor Stewart".... Apparently, Besty being new to acting, breeched the contract of one of her acting gig, she needed a lawyer she met Taylor who was fresh out of law school, after advising and settling the case, Taylor and Besty hung out, got drunk and made love which resulted in the pregnancy of Nathan... Besty tried reaching Taylor 3months later but couldn't as He wasn't in the country so she had the baby and put him up for adoption...

Looking back, Nathan remembered meeting his parents and his little sister for the first time... after bouncing from one Foster home to the next, he gave up hope on ever meeting his birth parents, apparently; fate had something else in store for him... His parents turned out to be amazing people plus his kid sister Chloe was the most kindest being he had ever met.

Standing outside waiting for Chloe to join him after having dinner, he stood still inhaling the night air he couldn't help but smile and count his blessings...

Chloe. Approaching him said 'sorry for making you wait, I thought I saw someone I knew in there.'

Nathan. Smiling boyishly 'no problem, the air is really nice today, I think I'll go on a stroll after dropping you off at your hotel.'

Chloe. Inhaled and exhaled... 'let's walk together, the night is still very young, plus my flight isn't till 12noon'

She linked her arm with Nathan's hand, pausing for a moment, she decided to say what was on her mind...

Chloe. 'Nate, I... ermm.... there's something I'll like to say'

Nathan. Raising a brow 'go ahead, say it.'

Chloe. Hesitated then spoke up 'I think you should reconsider and come home with me...' She looked at him to see his reaction then continued talking 'I know you already said you won't move permanently but if you don't, I'll have to be the one to take over dad's company and like I told you before, I prefer fashion!!!'

Nathan. Giving a little laugh 'come on Chloe, I don't know anything about law either, you'll do a more better job than me as you at least went to law school... what do I know?'

Chloe. A little relieved 'That isn't a problem Nate, you can always learn, there're schools you can attend just help me out please, else I'll be sad all my life'

Nathan. Feeling cornered 'I don't even know if law is what I want to do, what does a sales rep know about law?'

Chole. Stopped walking and looked at him 'it something you can learn with time... please help me out I sincerely don't know how much more I can endure doing what I don't like... please Nate.' She looked at him sadly.

Nathan looked at his sad fragile sister and he couldn't help feeling sorry for her. He had thought on studding law or even joining the police force but he couldn't in the past due to circumstances.... maybe this was his shot at pursing what he wanted... he realised they were already standing in front of his sister's hotel...

Natalie. Taking a deep breath he said softly 'sure Chloe I'm down for you and I want you to be happy... just give me a little time to tidy things over here and I'll come home...'

Chloe. Couldn't help but shriek with joy and embraced her brother... 'thank you soo much Nate, thank you so much.'

Nathan let out a very loud laugh then he felt someone watching him, looking at that direction, he saw someone familiar but he couldn't place where he knew her... she immediately got into a taxi and left...

Then it became clear to him... it was Audrey!!!
