Jaime had to admit that it was a strange feeling. He had lost no one dear to him throughout his entire life. No, he never even saw anyone die with his own two eyes, much less at the expense of saving his life.

Jaime played with the ring in his hand, closing his eyes to see what was inside. There were over ten advanced potions. Half of them could temporarily boost one's power, while the other five were healing potions. There was also some other precious stuff, which made Jamie smile in defeat.

"Even after your death, I can't figure you out, Draco. How do you have all this stuff?" Jaime mumbled to himself, closing his eyes for a moment. He didn't like this tight feeling in his chest. It made him both angry and glum.

From the beginning, Jamie never thought Draco even considered him a friend, as he always had that uninterested look on his face. He would have never thought that Draco would sacrifice his life for them.

"Brother, it's going to be alright." Cassie grabbed her brother by his hand, her pupils shaking a bit. Jamie feigned a smile and nodded, caressing her head from above.

"Damn it! How long is this freaking tunnel!" Xander, who was walking in the front, roared and punched the nearest wall. Sarah was also standing beside him. They met a few days after the incident, their paths interlocking.

They thought they were lucky at first since they didn't meet the enemies first, but their mood changed drastically. It has already been seven days since they were stuck in this dungeon, unable to escape.

"Calm down. You will alert the monsters in the area if you keep shouting like that." Sarah stated coldly.

"Calm down?! How can I calm down when we have been doing nothing but walking for seven whole days? At this rate, we are just going to starve and die before we even understand who wanted to kill us in the first place!" Xander shouted again, his eyes full of anger as he then glanced at Jaime. "And you, stop holding Draco's ring like it's your freaking kid. Focus on finding a way out of here instead!"

"Don't tell me what to do." Jaime retorted back, making eye contact with Xander. Cassie tugged on her brother's shoulder, hoping that he would calm down.

Xander walked up to Jaime and grabbed him by the collar, his face close. "I am not telling you what to do. I am just hoping that you would do what's best for the current situation, instead of thinking about Draco all the time. It's going to get you killed."

"I know what's better for myself." Jaime could no longer contain his emotions. "You can only talk like that because you didn't like Draco. You are probably happy that he is dead right now."

Xander pushed Jaime with all the force he had, causing him to fall to the ground. Cassie let out a strange noise from her mouth before jumping forth, protecting Jaime from Xander.

"I can talk like that because I know Draco isn't dead. Hell, that guy is a freak. If he died from something like a boulder falling upon him, then he wasn't worthy of my attention."

"So, you are just denying the truth?" Jaime rose from the ground, his expression suddenly turning sad. "I saw it with my own two eyes."

Xander was about to say something again when he suddenly felt an ominous feeling on the back of his neck. Everyone turned their eyes towards Sarah, who was standing with a stony expression and three arrows tucked.

"One more word and you will have to walk on one leg," Sarah stated, and everyone understood she wasn't joking. "Instead of fighting between yourself, direct your anger at the ones who caused all of this."

"Whatever." Xander was the first to break the silence as he continued to walk forward through the path. Jaime also stood from the ground, looking down in shame. He was overwhelmed by the emotions that had accumulated over these few days. It shouldn't happen again.

"Jaime, give me that ring," Sarah said and Jaime opened his mouth for a few seconds to protest, but nothing came out. Eventually, he just sighed and unwillingly threw it at her. It was for the better so that he would get distracted no more.

Sarah took her time inspecting the ring, her pupils dilating a bit.

'Father, I have finally understood what you meant. A human's life is truly fragile.' Sarah thought before joining the others. They continued to walk for some time before eventually coming to a halt.

They finally saw something. Light at the end of the path. Xander was about to rush forward like a wild animal that had found his prey when Sarah suddenly stopped him. "It must be a trap. Everyone prepare yourself and take one healing and strength potion."

After everyone prepared themselves, gripping their weapons, they finally walked out of the path and their eyes bulged wide open. They stood before a gigantic door leading to the boss room, but there was a group of people standing before it.

It comprised five elves and six humans, as all of them had this ominous aura around them. It didn't take long for all of them to understand that the ones standing before them were no longer humans, but fierce demons, who took control of their contractees' bodies.

"Hmm...it took you long enough to come here." Mark stepped forth, a huge smile on his face as his eyes turned completely dark, revealing his true identity. "Where is Draco? I can't see him... is he hiding somewhere?"

"Mark, you-"

"Stop. This is no longer Mark," Sarah interrupted Jaime, grabbing her weapon tighter. "Draco is dead."

"Dead? That can't be true, though. My contract with this weak human is still functioning." Mark mumbled, a huge smile spreading across his face. "So, he is indeed hiding somewhere. Like a rat."

He then raised his hand into the air as the group of demons behind him churned. The five humans circled around the elves, placing their shields against the ground as a strange dark light enveloped the entire group.

Then, the five elves standing in the middle raised their hands into the air as different spells formed above them. They all carried a hint of demonic energy within them, strengthening them.

"Damn it. This is going to be troublesome." Xander cursed under his breath.
