Chapter eighteen The party

Anna sneered, "Comfortable!? You kidding me."She chuckled looking at Maddie, "Maddie, just because someone owns a dirty hotel, she thinks she is famous enough to come to a superstar's party!"

Maddie held her chin as if considering what to say, "I think it's the most absurd thing I have ever heard of. Or did you go licking Kalen's foot so that she can invite you?"

"What I think is absurd, is trying to steal someone's limelight." Elena said as she walked past them, Rita was still silent. She is someone who doesn't bite unless she is bitten.

Anna was someone who did not know when to back down, she forcefully grabbed Elena's arm with one aim, since the media was already here, she thought 'why not embarrass her in front of everyone!? She smiled, this is the chance to expose her so called hotel. "Who stole someone's limelight? I was invited here because I am a superstar and also Damian's fiancée, but you..." She said, pointing at Elena and looking at her up and down disgustedly. "Who are you? Just a petty hotel owner, the hotel that destroyed my face because..."

"Hey, Elena is..." Kalen saw that things were not going on right, and that, attention seeker was really hitting the wrong place.

"Kalen, some people don't deserve to know anything, it's not worth it." She said, while she went forward to hug Kalen. Kalen hugged her back. She was really happy that Elena could attend her birthday, she wouldn't be where she was if it was not for Elena. "Happy birthday, birthday girl. There are some matters you don't have to worry about, I mean, we can't blame people for their carelessness." She said.

"Who are you calling careless, take back what you said or..."

"Or what Anna!? Why are you trying to embarrass yourself? My hotel does not give free food to customers, unless you order. So, if you ordered seafood and ate, that is your problem not my hotel's." Elena said, then she hooked her hands in the arms of Rita and Kalen and left, not bothering to look back at Anna and Maddie who were now fisting their hands in anger.

"I'm going to kill that bitch." Anna said gritting her teeth so hard that it became painful. She started making a move but was stopped by Maddie.

"Anna don't. If you cause a scene at Kalen's birthday now, I bet the media won't be lenient with you. And Kalen..."

Damian had already arrived at the club, but he went through the back door, he did not like too much attention. He majestically walked with measured steps to the room that his assistant had told him. There were already three people in the room. He sat down and said, "shall we start the meeting!?"

"I am Martin, the assistant of Robotech company," he bowed down just like the way he was taught and said, "my apologies, my boss can't come, she sent me as her representative."

"Your boss is really something, this is an important meeting, how can she send you to the meeting?" Damian complained.

"Sir, my boss is someone who goes according to the schedule and this meeting wasn't in her schedule. You should be thankful that she told me to come instead." Martin said, in pure displeasure.

Damian could see the displeasure in Martin's face from the moment he walked in, it is like the man bears a long-term grudge with him though they don't know each other , but now he is starting to wonder if he heard this name somewhere...

"I heard your boss is down there at the party, can she save sometime for us?" the managing director of the Elite company said.

"That's the problem, she doesn't hold meetings in a noisy environment, she likes quite places." Martin said, his expression totally different from the one he had earlier when he was talking to Damian, and Damian noticed it, `the guy can't even hide his expression. 'he thought.

"Then I'll trouble you to book an appointment with her." the director said.

"Okay."

There were every famous artists in the party, some knew Elena while some did not. They walked toward them. "Hey y'all, meet my role model, Elena."

"Hey, I missed you so much." Beck a famous actress. "No calls, no messages, and not even leave a voice message. Are you really my number one fan?!" She said.

"Don't worry, we will meet soon, I've been busy these two months..." Elena said, but was cut short.

"Busy what!? Faking your death and then selling your body to older men?" Anna approached them. Everything that was going on at the party was live on social media, that was according to Kalen's request.

"What is she talking about." Becky asked.

"I really don't know her problem, I don't even know her, but she has been tailing me since yesterday. You know how I am always stalked by strangers," Elena said, faking a wronged expression. "But it's okay, she keeps on calling me Sarah, I don't know what happened between the two of them."

"Stop faking it, I know you're Sarah you bitch!" Anna said.

"I think there is a problem with her brains, let's go I don't want to spoil Kalen's live party." Elena said it intentionally, causing Anna, Maddie and their other followers to be shocked! The reporters were not allowed inside, so after they took photos they remained outside and waited for the party to end so that they can do an interview. But who knew everything inside was live?

Anna, who has been known to be a kind and loving female star was now showing her true face, "I think we need to stop so that you won't destroy your image." Maddie said. Then she looked somewhere and smiled, "How about we clear your name by repeating the history?"

Anna followed Maddie's line of sight and understood what she meant. They both smiled at each other with sinister looks, not knowing they were slowly falling into the trap.
