Activating the crystal ball with 003's instruction, the ball trembled once in his palm, a thin fine crack appearing on its surface before showing a clear image. In the image was Xi Wei.

Any random plant from the mystic realm can be considered a rarity that sells for a hefty sum, so the wound on his stomach was nearly healed, and his complexion although still pale, was no longer sickly. Walking in at a quick pace, he appears to be going somewhere in a hurry.

From the crystal ball, Su Yang can see that the surrounding was a desolate wasteland with nothing but a rocky terrain in sight. A dark and gloomy aura also shrouds the surrounding, making a person feel cold and eerie.

Xi Wei continues to travel until he reaches what seems to be the border of this gloomy wasteland. An unnatural film of mist covers it, stretching as far as the eyes can see, never spreading any further yet never fading away either. Xi Wei steps into the mist and the crystal ball went blank just as Su Yang saw Xi Wei's figure disappearing completely into the mist.

Although Su Yang had no idea where Xi Wei was just now, the body's original owner was very clear on where this place is. Almost all cultivators know what the border to the demonic realm looks like, even if they have never been there before.

Even with the original's memories, it still took him a few tries to ride the sword in a way that doesn't damage his elegant and noble image.

On the way to the border, Su Yang had bought a transformation pill from the system's store. Originally he had wanted to use a mid-grade transformation pill that he had found in the original's storage pouch, but 003 told him that if they encountered someone with a higher cultivation base than him, the disguise would be useless. Su Yang's cultivation is already extremely impressive for his age but he understands that the world is a dangerous place. There are definitely demonic cultivators more powerful than him, not to mention demons who have lived for hundreds and thousands of years.

His disguise took on the form of a tree demon and since tree demons normally have youthful appearances, he looks like a child no older than ten. With his shrunken body, the clothes he had been wearing fell onto the ground in a pile, but, thankfully the transformation had also provided him with a set of dark green robe that he was already dressed neatly in. On his small and tender forehead was a unique vibrant red mark. Over the course of the week, the red mark will slowly fade, bit by bit, and when it was completely gone, Su Yang's body will revert back to normal.

When he had finished looking at his appearance and was about to put his sword back into its sheath, it suddenly turned into a twig and its sheath was turned into... a sheath for the twig??

"..." Su Yang was speechless. How is he suppose to fight with a twig? Throw it at the demonic cultivators and hope they will chase it?? In frustration, he swung the twig above his head and the ground not far away from him split to form a deep crack.
