Nan Jiaojiao paused on her tiptoes, then quickened her pace slightly, but still walked over in a leisurely manner.
She looked up and asked in a light voice, "How did you know I was here?"
"We have a heart-to-heart connection."
She scoffed.
Lu Zhenzhen immediately confessed, "I said it, I need to hurry back and pass the buck, so I can't stay with you for the time being, but I'm also worried about you being alone, so I called over Brother Dong Shi."
"So, brother has become your handyman, huh?"
Pei Dongshi smiled gently, his eyes warm as he took a glance at the grey sweatshirt Nan Jiaojiao was wearing. The shirt was so long it covered her thighs, with the hood draping over her back—quite cumbersome, and the tag was still attached.
"Whose clothes are you wearing?"
"These were provided on the plane, a men's model."
"Looks pretty good," Pei Dongshi restrained himself, but couldn't help it and just laughed out loud.
