Ch. 24- The Python Home

Vibrantly moving at high speed, the twins reached their home, which was in the Sky settlement district, without any word uttered from either of them.

John entered through the front door in a hurry and went straight to his room, while Alex went to the garage to see his father.

Max was heating iron in the forge using his anvil when his curious son came in.

"Dad, I'm back." said Alex walking to the workshop table.

He took the anvil out and put it on the table to shape the molten iron with his hammer. "Oh hey, you came to see me working?" he said.

Alex paused near the table, smelling the smoke from the heated metal, "I just came to tell you that something really bad happened today."

"Y-Yeah, y-you see...a-aahh..uh...I’m pretty busy right now. Can you go and tell your mother instead?" he said while hammering the iron to shape it like a sword.

"B-But dad,"

"I-I’m sorry, I'll be coming soon."

"Okay...If you say so," he went back to the door and walked out of the garage.
