Chapter 16- Treatment

"What are you two doing? What happened?" Mister boss appeared and looked like he was running towards our spot since he panted. "I heard a loud crash from my office."

Huh?? He heard it from his office? He sure has sensitive ears. By the way, by the looks of it, he ran towards here. Why would he care about me? I am just his house cleaner...

"Ah! I just tripped and my wrist got burnt. It's nothing! I just had a little accident, Mister boss," I said

"Let me see," Mister boss grabbed my arm even though I was in the middle of letting it wet on the cold water. Two of them are now holding my arm.

I exceedingly blushed all the way to my ears and pulled my arm just to let them let go, "This is nothing for you two to worry abou-"

"Then does this hurt?" Mister boss suddenly touched my burnt wrist.

"AWW!"

"That's what I thought."

"PWAHAHAHAHA" The underboss laughed as if he had been holding it in. "What did you just called him? 'Mister boss?'" He asked.

"Ah, y-yes, sir..." I got embarrassed.

The underboss continued to laughed and said, "What about me? Can you also make me a nickname?"

"Uhmm... That's..." I got panicked and didn't know what to say.

Really?! Does he want a nickname for me?? This is so embarrassing...

I looked at Mister boss and he just stood there looking at me.

Right now feels so awkward! Somebody just please help me... Granny...

The underboss then said, "I'm kidding, I'm kidding. Anyways, let's now use ice-"

"What about we use ice to treat it," Mister boss didn't get to finish what the underboss was about to say.

I directly replied, "Noooo... I think that would hurt..."

"HYEON!! WHAT HAPPENED TO YOU?!" Granny arrived.

Hahhh... Finally... Granny...

"Ah, granny. You're here. I just got a little accident earlier. Haha."

"Come here I'll treat your wrist. Let's go now," granny took me away from them and apologized, "Sorry for the trouble, Don and Capo." She then bowed.

"It's okay. I guess it was my fault in the first place," the underboss said.

"I was being clumsy. I was the one who started the trouble. I'm sorr-"

Mister boss spoke up, "It's no one's fault."

The kitchen became quiet.

Granny then said, "Anyway, we're gonna go now, Don and Capo."

We bowed and left. We went straight in the maids room.

"Are you okay, honey? Does it hurt so much?" Granny was worried.

"No, not really."

"Since I heard you don't want ice on your burnt wrist, we're just now going to put bandage," granny opened her drawer and found a first-aid kit.

While granny was helping me put the bandage, I felt confuse since the moment when the underboss came, "Granny, what's the underboss' name? Why do you call Mister boss 'Don' and 'Capo' for the underboss?"

"I call your Mister boss 'Don' because that's the Italian word for 'boss', and the word 'Capo' also means the same thing because the underboss is my boss too. By the way, Capo's name is Matthew, and he's Don's cousin. He's 26 years old. He's pretty handsome, right?"

"Ah, hahaha... I guess."

Right! Granny still doesn't know that I'm gay! Should I just tell her? Will she be disappointed?

"Granny, the truth is... I... I'm actually... Uhmm..." Words couldn't come out of my mouth. I was scared, I was scared of what will she react next by the time after I say it.

"The truth is what, honey?" Granny tilted her head and went confused until I said my next phrase.

"I'm gay..."

She stayed quiet and I felt awkward. She then said, "Ah, were you afraid to tell me that earlier when you stuttered? Haha, don't worry, honey, I support you no matter what you are. The important is... The ones that are good to me will receive my respect. And... I also support LGBTQ+."

"Aww... Thanks granny," I hugged her.

"Now, why did you come out to me all of a sudden? Do you like Capo? Are you interested in him? I'll tell you more details about him..." She raised her eyebrows like how she always teases me.

"What?! The underboss...?! N-No... I mean, he is very good looking and handsome." I blushed and got embarrassed since I ended up telling my feelings to her.

Thud, thud, thud. I heard footsteps outside the maids room and the sound was fading away until I didn't hear one, not knowing that it was from Mister boss.

He listened.
