Chapter 36: A surprise visit
The breakfast was set outside in the garden of their house. The garden was dewy with a hint of fresh air. She remembered the old days whenever it rained they would eat breakfast in the garden with the birds chirping above them and playing under the tree.
They would listen to the song of the birds and eat their delicious food. It used a happy memory of her childhood.
She stepped outside in the garden. Where her mother and father were setting the food on the table. Her father looked over at his daughter who was approaching them.
"Sit down, you must be hungry," her father welcomed her daughter as he sat her down.
Everyone sat on their respective seats. The aroma of the food wafting into her nostrils made her salivate. It seems that there was no way she could resist the temptation of the delicious food placed on the table.
