Amelie
My hand stiffened on Hassan's shoulders, immediately giving away the fact that his words had caught me off guard.
"Child?" I stammered, unable to hide the shock I felt at the moment.
"Yes, Amelie. We've been together for so long, and I've respected your opinion all this while. I love Junior, I absolutely adore him, and I take him as my son. But with this new development, there's no telling what would happen next. If Liam is serious about claiming his child, then it's probably best for us to have our own baby." Hassan reasoned.
"He's not taking Junior away from us, I promise." I replied, my voice still a bit shaky. I could sense the frustration in Hassan's words, and it made replying to him the way I wanted even more difficult.
"We can't be a hundred percent sure. And besides, this isn't about Liam, it's about us. I'm ready to be a father, I'm ready to have a child of my own."
