Veronica was doing some work on her laptop. But she was unable to focus on the work. She was thinking about the morning incident. It was noon now.

"So I'll get married? Like really, huh? The thing which I never wanted in these two years!" Veronica said, while looking at the laptop, with her frowned brows. Then Veronica's phone started ringing, she looked at the phone screen to check the number, she saw that it's grandma calling.

Her heart skipped a beat, she thought that maybe grandma would rebuke her for the news, and will misunderstand her.

Veronica's face darkened a little bit and picked up the call, "Hello" Veronica said in a low voice, sadness could be felt in her voice.
