CHAPTER 43: FIRST KISS

Ryan carefully carried Mia out if the party not caring about what happened earlier. He stared at her face and could see she was still awake as she held him tightly while looking at his face.

He carefully placed her in the back seat before he gotten while the driver proceeded to drive.

He felt Mia's hold on him tightened,as the car drove.

Truth be told Ryan was taken aback by the kiss and she had done it in front everyone at that.

He had been looking for her for a while and had no idea she would drink at the party. But he was glad she didn't drink much but still Mia got drunk.

Ryan could still feel the impact of her lips on his when she kissed him.

He looked down to see her eyes closed and was relieved she was sleeping.

The car soon came to an halt,without wasting a second,Ryan carried Mia out of the car into the mansion.

He opened the door to her room before switching the lights on as he carefully placed her on the bed before carefully taking of her shoes.

He went closer to her to adjust the pillow when she suddenly felt a fuck on his shirt. He looked at Mia to see her eyes wide open"so she's still awake"

"are you going to leave?"Mia asked Ina drunken tone and she saw Ryan nod his head

"uh uh stay"she pouted her lips like a child as she gave him a Ute look.

Ryan moved only to be pulled back down, Mia's hand were wrapped around his neck as she held him close looking straight into his eyes.

"Mia you are drunk"he tried to pull away but Mia pulled him more closer.

"why are you going away? I'm your girlfriend aren't I?"

Before Ryan could react Mia pulled him more closer making his lips on hers and Mia began to kiss him with her eyes closed

"Mia"Ryan tried to pull away but could see the drunk lady shaking her head as if telling him no.

Mia continued to kiss him and Ryan felt himself giving in to her kiss and soon he kissed her back,his hand moved to caress her cheek as he kissed.

He felt a warm feeling that he couldn't describe, he felt he was going crazy and a grown escaped his throat when he heard Mia moan.

Ryan wanted to stop and he didn't.

He could taste the alcholic wine she had drank earlier.Ryan kept being drawn towards mia.

Soon he pulled away after Mia slept in the middle of the kiss and left the room immediately .

Ryan didn't want to believe what he had just done.

He heard the car horn from outside and he could guess that his brother, cousin and grandfather are back.

"do you think they are asleep?"

he heard Lucy's voice as it got louder as well as Jason's

"we'll just have to see" Jason replied

they both paused when they saw Ryan coming down the stairs

"where's bug sister?"Lucy asked

"she's asleep"Ryan simply replied while Lucy nodded in understanding

"so how are you feeling now brother?"Jason whispered as Lucy went upstairs.

"I didn't tell you u was sick did I?"Ryan curtly replied as he glanced at the entrance and then his brother

"nah I meant the kiss ,you know it's the first time I'm seeing you kissing a girl which I've always wanted so..." he left the words hanging for Ryan to complete with

"don't you have other things to do?"

Jason sighed knowing asking was pointless anyway. He knew Ryan would not even answer him but he still lived in hope. But he was glad his brother found a girl to keep him busy.

Ryan left for his room as he needed to take a shower,it didn't take long for him to get to his room.

The next time she opened her eyes ,it seemed blurry, blinking a few more times, her surrounding became more clear. She let out a long breath while closing her eyes again

Her eyes moved to the window to notice that it was morning already.

"was the party over?"she wondered as to how she even got to her room. Her mind was blank as if not remembering anything.

It was then she noticed that she was still in beige gown,but her shoes were taken off. Mia got down from the bed as she walked to open the window, making the room brighter. She took off her dress before going to the bathroom to have a long bath. When she was done,she went to stand in front of the mirror when something strange happened. Everything that happened last night came rushing to her,she remembered kissing Ryan at the party and also in her room. Her fingers moved to touch her lips as she thought of it

"oh no no no,Mia you seriously kissed him not even once but twice"mis face palmed herself in her mind. "what must he think of her now?" she thought to her self. Mia tried to imagining how she would face him after all that happened yesterday.

She came out of the bathroom only to see Ryan seating on her bed. She was wearing a Jean trouser and a long blue top.

"I'll just have to pretend I don't remember anything"she thought inside

"good morning"

"did you sleep well?"Ryan asked as he looked up at her and she answered him with a nod. Mia noticed a soup beside her bed and something that looked like a package.

"drink the hangover soup and also a packaged arrived for you last night when we were preparing for the party" he said as he got up to leave

"make sure you drink the soup?"he reminded before leaving

"he didn't ask about the kiss , thank God"

She sat in her bad drinking the hangover soup at the same time checking the package to see it was from Hannah and she suddenly remembered that Hannah was supposed to send her a dress but Ryan had bought one for her.

Mia opened it to see a lovely gown that Hannah had sent her.

"morning sis you like my dress?", Hannah said as soon as she picked up the call

"yeah but I wore the one my ryan got me"Mia replied.

"I'm so sorry it's just that he took me to this place where there is a mall spa and everything so I got ready there and I forgot please don't be upset"Mia added

"no I'm not no worries,you can always wear it another time"Hannah replied and Mia was glad she wasn't upset.

"I'm sure you enjoyed the party"
