Chapter 3

Despite the more esoteric manners, beings trying to open my barrier around the mountain I was gradually able to get used to the annoyance and put it out of my mind as I opened the grandly carved stone front door as the human slowly strode in looking fit to break down seeing such an opulent structure.

'Maybe the glowing diamonds and lapis lazuli used to decorate the designs on the front door was a bit much' I thought as the man collapsed to his knees several meters in front of my throne.

"Thank you, great lord, for the favor of saving my life. How could I ever repay you." The young man cried out as he pressed his face into the warm marble.

'Yes, that's right I had all my floors heated. What with infinite power, why I should have to walk on cold tiles?'

"It was a trifle to protect a human doing the honorable task of cleaning the debris of others off my body." I waved him off and he seemed to understand what I meant.

"Lord god what should I call you and why have you only now announced your presence as I can tell you are a god like the goddesses of the Moriya Shrine." The human said as he sat back on his haunches still on his but not making eye contact with me probably out of me smiting him or something.

'Wait... Goddesses of the Moriya Shrine. This is Touhou! No wonder I want people's worship so much. Well either way I need to take a fictional name as taking the name of a known god would only bring me trouble and I have only one idea that can fit for a mountain god at the moment.'

"Call me Moria of the new Mount Moria." I said and as I spoke, I felt something about me change somehow and then I felt the tiniest trickle of the worship from this man more than triple in size as the connection between us turned from what felt like drops going through a straw become a strong constant trickle. Undeterred from the ever so small power increase I continued. "I am a mountain god and I have only recently been born but being a mountain god and anchored to this land I am truly infinite in power within my mountain rather those flighty goddesses that fight for every scrap of worship they get."

The human couldn't deny how desperate the shrines seemed for worship and there were rumors within the human village that the so-called tours around Gensokyo were rigged to frighten people and feed the youkai with the goddesses occasionally saving people to earn ardent worshippers.

"Now young man what was your name, and should you desire it you may stay in one of the adjacent rooms in Cathedral tonight or I can have a construct escort you to the Hakurei Shrine Maiden trying to destroy my barrier with no success." I said with a wry smile as knowing I was in Touhou gave some context to the people trying to break into my barrier.

The young man instead surprised me as he returned to full burying his face into the marble as he cried out. "Great Lord Moria I beg your pity and request you to help the humans of Gensokyo! The shrine maiden is constantly cavorting with Yokai, Oni and Magicians. She is lazy and no longer wants to perform the rituals to cleanse people turning into Yokai or Oni due to the stupid spell card system she put in and will just kill the old people turning into Yokai!"

'Hmm honestly makes sense as Reimu certainly has no friends as far as I am aware of that are common citizens of the human village plus if she is no longer doing her shrine maiden duties it would also explain how she isn't getting any donations. But then again what can you expect for a girl who was basically raised by the Gap Hag.'

I stared down at the man and he was surprisingly able to withstand the gravity increase from my mana rolling in irritation. "I asked what your name is, child of man..."

The man grunted and was barely able to press himself back to his knees and I could only smile seeing how strong willed he was when he stared at me in the eyes which if he was actually going to be blessed/experimented on by me he should at least have the courage to spit in the face of the divine.

"My name is Hiro Tagami" He growled, and I couldn't help but snort hearing his name and cut off the mana weighing him down.

"Alright Hiro Tagami... I suppose it is fitting with your name that you should be my first person I lay a blessing upon." Now what to give him is the question... Ah I got it!

As I took in the man, I noticed although his face was quite different, he still had blue spiky hair and purple eyes as well as a strongly built body so I knew exactly what I should do to spread my name through this land through him.

"Hiro Tagami I shall give you three blessing's as well as a weapon to defend yourself in your journey!" I steadfastly ignored the man blinking in confusion hearing me planning on sending him on some journey, as I approached him and then almost flashed in front of him and laid my palm upon his forehead and covered his eyes.

My magic violently flooded the human, and I could hear not only him groaning in pain at the experience I could also feel his bones breaking and blood spurting down his jacket to pool along the ground.

But I paid no attention to his body as I forced the very concept of precognition into his eyes, the concept of protection from projectiles into his chest, and lastly, I gave the man potent regeneration and tied it to a core of solid magic I next implanted next to his heart seeing the man had no magic potential.

Taking a step back I snapped my fingers and all the blood and other things that were forced out of Hiros body shot back in and his body visibly healed using the regeneration factor I implanted into the man.

"Hiro I will have your weapon prepared for you tomorrow morning. So, for now, go and rest as I am sure that was a... traumatic experience." I saw his now slitted red eyes almost glare at me for understating his suffering, but he seemed to reign in any feelings of pain as he bowed lightly and went towards the side rooms I indicated.

"I can't help but wonder if this how Zeltretch feels when he throws class cards out into the universe." I errantly thought feeling the great curiosity flowing within me as to what Hiro will do what I had already given him, but I had another plan for his weapon as although giving him Gae Bolg or even Gae Buidhe would be funny as hell knowing few if any would be able to deal with the causality strike of Bolg or simply noping magic out of existence with Buidhe they for one wouldn't be a threat to me as well as I felt he may be a little too zealous in killing off the Yokai of the land and I didnt want all those forever sleeping sages to get off their asses to try to kill me.

So basically, I needed to make him a decent weapon that would work and not cause too many problems...
