CHAPTER 23
I am there when she opens the shop the next day.
"You are here early" she comments
"I am working on a timeline." I tell her and get inside when she invites me in. I remember I wanted to ask her about something she mentioned yesterday.
"Yesterday you said if you were caught helping a were wolf you would be in trouble"
She looks down as she goes on arranging stuff "yes. We witches have never been in good terms with the other specials because for a long time we have been isolated, so ideally, we have come to be on ourselves. But it all dates back from a long time ago"
I am surprised at this. I didn't realize how caged I was in Laurentia I never interacted with any other species other than wolves. Even humans are on rare occasions.
"This is all new to me. do not take my naivety as a weakness though" I warn her
