He looks at me with his dark eyes and I shiver. He is talking about me. No.
"You didn't control me," I say and don't know if I am trying to convince him or myself. Perhaps both.
"I didn't say anything. You asked and I answered a question," he says and comes closer to where I am. "I didn't mention your name."
"You are talking like it was a list of people that you controlled," I say and I am starting to get the foreboding sense of feeling that I might not like what he says.
"I am very old kitten. I had to find ways to feed, to survive and then live within and outside my body."
I get Goosebumps when he speaks. This is the first time he is talking and I can feel the ancient power that is residing inside of him impact the outside, the atmosphere that we're in. I am not sure if I like it or I am even more attracted to him.
"What does that mean?" I dare ask, lifting my chin, not wanting to show any sign that he might be scaring me a little.
