The first thing that registers when I open my eyes is that I am on the ground. I prop my elbows and a cloth is covering my body. I hold it closer to me and I can feel the lingering pain behind my head.
Someone took me from my room and brought me here. I stand and stumble. I catch my footing and I look around. That's when I notice the hooded figures standing at the edge of the clearing I am in standing all in a circle. I am at the centre. I turn in a circle as I look at the figures who the only light is the bonfire at the centre on where I am standing.
It's all silent and I can feel the eerie brooding silence my head clears out and now I catch sense of what's going on. Someone has brought me here and from what I can tell, it's not for a tea party. I hold the cloth around me tightly and I can feel my heart beat rising.
