My eyes are closed shut as my head lay against his chest.
I want this, I do. I don't know for how long I am going to convince myself otherwise. This is what I have always wanted, is it not?
Why then am I thinking of someone else?
I look up to him. "If we are going to do this, then you have to know something," I tell him.
"Tell me," he says gently as he moves my hair out of my face.
"You can't remove the mark," his hand stills and I go on talking. "Only the person who put it can do that."
"I see," that's all he says.
"There is something else that you should know. If we are going to be together again, I do not want us to have secrets between us," I say and I move around, fiddling with my hands.
"He healed me, and during that time, our energies matched, interwoven in a way I don't know how to explain I can just feel it," I say and I see his mood growing darker and darker as I talk.
