"It's not much but this will do" Lucia says as she leads us to a room we will be staying for the night.
There are bunk beds, and the room looks cosy, it has even a fire place, not what I could have imagined.
She seems to be reading my mind. "Yeah, we get that a lot. I bet you expected tents and sleeping bags" she says, as she laughs.
"Well yes" I reply. She moves about to give us room to settle in,in our new quarters.
"You can stay for as long as you would like, there is plenty of room for everyone here" and with that she leaves.
Nicole falls into a bed and exhales loudly, "she is so cheery like a glass of sunshine".
"Something you seem to be enjoying" Shirley mutters under her breathe but Nicole hears her.
"Yes, it's a change pace, I seem to be surrounded by gloomy faces of late" she says.
"Gee thanks", I say as I sit on the lower bunk, opposite Nicole.
