I wake up to the same dream again.
Only this time, I see Zane next to me and … he was holding my hand in comfort.
When I tried to look in again, I woke up before I could.
This time, the dream was so vivid.
I rub my face, feeling the exhaustion kick in. I have been barely sleeping. I walk to the kitchen to get a glass of cold water, while going through my phone.
Eden wants to talk to me.
Sigh.
I have been avoiding this for as long as I could. He wants to know what I am hiding, and specifically how I know Zane, even though I really don't.
The last I saw Zane was when we were talking in the field. That was three weeks ago. Since then, I have been occupied with classes, dealing with my detention and make up cats, for all the missed CATS I hadn't done.
It has been a long three weeks.

I sit by the kitchen counter, looking outside the open window.
