"Hey guys!"
Our moment was broken when we had company.
Shirley.
"Whoa, is she supposed to be with you? Did she hold you captive with her bad magic?"
Nicole came from behind Shirley. She was asking Eden, completely ignoring me.
"I am here, why are you talking like I can't hear you?" I asked her.
"It's okay," Eden reassured them. "We are good here."
I looked at the two girls who were avoiding looking at me, even though it was impossible since I was right there.
"I guess I owe you guys an apology" I spoke.
"You guess right" Nicole snorted, clearly displeased with me. I had hurt my friends, friends I had come to cherish in the time we have known each other.
"I'm sorry for the way I talked the other day, it was insensitive of me, I was a bitch." I apologized to them.
"If you ask me, you are still a bitch even now" Nicole jabbed and Shirley elbowed her.
