Praying was something Kaori hadn't done too much of lately. Of course, the main reason was that, well, the Savior had graduated from doing that to speaking to her goddess directly. When that was an option, praying naturally would become obsolete.
And yet, Kaori found herself on her knees with her hands pressed together, and her elbows buried in her bed.
... Help me make this work, she thought before she stood up and walked out of her room in the Arcane's Manor, fully dressed in her Savior's Armor. Outside, the civilians covered the halls and rooms as they took shelter due to the fact that no one knew whether the demons would be attacking soon. It was best to assume that they were, however, and so, no one who wasn't going to fight was out in the streets.
