Chris pov

To say I was surprised that the little girl I met weeks ago was grown up and Is my mate would me a understatement. I had heard go upstairs to a room I could tell it was her because of the scent of coconut and peach. Once I was excused from Alex I went upstairs and followed her said to a room. I opened the door to find it a room themed by wolves. And there she was laying on the bed and I could hear her crying.

Go over and sit down on the bed and talk a piece of hair behind your ear hoping that she would stop crying and look at me. But she just pretends to be asleep. I don't know what I did to hurt her or make her ignore me or mad at me. I know you're awake. I say she just continues to ignore me and pretend to be asleep. I don't know why you're mad at me or ignoring me but please to explain to me hope. I say I see her open her eyes but then close on pretending to be asleep again probably thinking I didn't see.

I sigh and play with her hair while I hum lullaby my mom used to sing to me when I was little. Her start to even out telling me she's asleep I just sit there watching her sleep. I wish I knew what I did to make her angry at me or what I did to make her cry. You're an idiot. My wolf Peter says. I don't know what I did wrong so why are you calling me an idiot. I yelled at Peter. She's the protector of the true alpha which is also the next goddess of the moon she is growing into her powers. she's already got one that's what her Violet told me. she heard what you said to Alex. She thinks that you think she's just a child. Peter says.

Well I guess that explains why she was crying. But I don't think she's a little girl I think she's a gorgeous young woman now I know that she was way mature for her age when she was little to. I'm glad she was the goddesses gift to Alex because if she wasn't I would be waiting years 12 years to be exact to be able to be with her. Now we're just one year apart me being 18 you know.

I'm just happy I have my mate. She's gorgeous and smart. I just wish I could tell her that without her ignoring me. I know I'm probably going to be watched like a hawk by Alex this is her little sister after all. I'm fine with that as long as I get to be with hope. I see a spare blanket and pillow on the edge of her bed. I pick them up and make it that on the floor knowing that she would probably hate me even more if I slept on the bed with her.

I laid down but can't seem to fall asleep my mind erasing with ways to make it up to her. I get up and go downstairs where I see all the presents she didn't quite open. Alex eating some strawberries, bananas and peanut butter. Hey Alex apparently she's got her first power and can hear things from a long distance or something and she heard what we were talking about and now she's very angry at me or ignoring me. I tell Alex she just looks at me with shock.

And let me guess you want to know how to make it up to her well there's this pet store in town with a cat that she really wanted it a Siamese we can go tonight if you want. Alex tells me and I nod furiously. She goes and gets her keys and we head out to her car. Which may I say is up the best car ever I wish I had a car like that. We driving to town in front of the pet store.

Go in and I see a boy well more like a teenage boy at the counter. Alex goes to a cage and picks out a kitten which is a Siamese. This is the one she's been wanting no one wants it because it's a little feisty. Alex tells me. I picked the cat up and take it to the cash register and pay for it. We also buy toys and food for it and a bed. Once we done we head back to the car and drive back to the cabin.

Thanks Alex for the help. I say to Alex before heading back upstairs and setting everything up in Hope's room. Not all we had to do is wait until the morning I cuddle with the cat on my makeshift bed on the floor.

I wake up before Hope and set everything up and just hold the cat my hands waiting for her to wake up. I sit on the edge of her bed waiting. She slowly starts to stir making me think she's finally waking up. She yawns and opens her eyes to see me. Her eyes then start to feel with tears. I want the tears away and try to comfort her but she just pushes me away.

I'm sorry hope I don't think you're a child. I was just a little confused okay. I think you're a beautiful young woman that deserves the world. I tell her and she looks up at me with tears filled eyes. I wiped the tears from her eyes and smile letting her know I'm telling the truth. I pull into my lap and hug her after setting the cat down.

When she finally settled down I put her back on her bed before grabbing the kitten. Hope I got you something last night Alex told me you really wanted it in I wanted to make it up to you so I bought it. I tell her and show her the kitten a huge smile grows on her face. You bought me coco? She asks and I just nod. She hugs me and then takes Coco out of my arms and pets her.

That's Coco down and comes up to me and sits on my lap. When I looked at her eyes her eyes are no longer her normal blue but a glowing violet. You two know you didn't have to get her a cat to make it up to her right. She says which makes me confused. The names violet I'm hopes wolf. She says I just nod understanding.

I know but I wanted to. I tell violet her eyes slowly fade from the glowing Violet back to their normal ocean blue. She smiles and puts her arms around my neck. Thank you Chris. She tells me before kisses my cheek and gets up and heads into her walk-in closet.

Hopes POV

I can't believe he went and got me coco. he is most definitely made my day. It was really sweet of him to go and buy me coco when he didn't have to. I look though my closet to find a cute outfit. It was a neon green sleeveless shirt that says baby girl on it with matching sweatpants and some white tennis shoes.



I walk out to see Chris playing with coco with some cat toys. I head to the bathroom and look in the mirror and do my hair in a messy bun. When I walk out of the bathroom I go down stairs to find Alex sitting eating bananas and peanut butter. I hug her before going to the fridge and grabbing some strawberries and sugar. Yes we eat fruit for breakfast every day.

To day we are moving into the alpha House. Alex says. I just nod and continue to eat my strawberries. I hear some one coming down from the upstairs. I look to see Chris standing in the door way with a smile. This is going to be a good day.
