Really confused ever since I shifted I've been aging every Friday it kind of makes sense but since my birthday is on a Friday but not even in years apart it's every week every Friday I get older and older I'm so scared and confused hopefully Alex find something she told me she was going to go try and find some answers. I look about 15 16 right now it's been a few weeks Alex took me to the cabin to stay with Ava for a while so no one gets suspicious until she figures things out so I haven't seen her in weeks. She's supposed to come by and tell me what's going on today.

Beautiful dresses and clothes don't fit me anymore and I'm acting more like a teenager I am so flipping confused I still like art I sketch every once in a while of wolves and stuff and in my dreams I've been seeing this may I say hot guy. And he's always running around chasing my wolf which has gotten pretty big too. What if I'm possessed or some magical different being that's not a werewolf. What if Alex or no one accepts me for who I am or Alex doesn't look at me the same way because I'm growing up and incredibly fast rate.

Ava got went to the store a few weeks days ago and got me some outfits they're adorable don't get me wrong and kind of my vibe but it's not the point I'm just scared. I walk into my walk-in closet and find one of my brand new outfits it's really cute it's a black spaghetti strap shirt with some matching skirt with gold butterflies all over them.



Don't get me wrong it's gorgeous but I wish I still fit in my gorgeous baby pink dress that Alex bought me just for my last birthday. There's a knock on the door. I go and answer the door to find Alex he has a few bags with famous clothing line stores on them probably more close for me but with a smile on her face she hugs me and says hi.

I go to the fridge and make her her favorite snack and since I'm technically not a kid anymore I guess I can use a real knife. I make bananas and strawberries with peanut butter on the side with sugar for the strawberries and of course a fork sometimes she likes to dip the strawberries in peanut butter too but hey all to their own I guess.

Hey Alex here's your favorite snack. I say two are really nervous that she's going to look at me strange for growing up or with hate for not being her little sister anymore. To my surprise she just smiles and takes it from me and thanks me I sit on the opposite direction of her on a big chair that I've always wanted to sit in but was always too small to reach it.

Oh and I bought you some clothes I hope you don't mind. Alex says. She gives me the bag that I look inside to find a cute dress and if you outfits other than dresses. I hug her and thank her and she's off again saying she'll be back next week for my final birthday. Apparently I started aging late so I will only be turning 17 just one week late though.

Don't get me wrong I'm excited to meet my mate and to finally be able to do big kids stuff but I can't believe my life just flew past me I was supposed to be young and learn from my mistakes but now I'm growing up at a rate that no one should have to grow up at. But I know it's for the past the goddess does what she needs to. And the worst part is all my friends are younger than me now and they wouldn't understand because they're human and the werewolf friends would go tell their big siblings or parents and I probably get killed because no werewolves should grow this fast.

Also told me I would be starting high school soon. Yay I guess I take the bags to Alex bought me and put them in my closet and go to bed.

It's been a week and now it's Friday meaning my last birthday until I start aging normally again. I go through my closet and find something really cute it was one of the outfits Alex bought me. Black and white outfit with a butterfly on the shirt.



I had downstairs after doing my hair and a fancy ponytail kind of like Ariana grande. I see Alex there with a few more boxes and bags probably more presents for this kind of special Friday. I do got to say I feel more grown up and you can definitely tell I act like it too and lately I've been getting overprotective of Alex meaning the protector in me is finally kicking it.

You're going to say thank you and we all eat dinner which is chicken breasts and mashed potatoes corn and peas. I am told to close my eyes by Ava and Alex and I do so. I close my eyes and hear them singing Happy Birthday I just roll my eyes under my eyelids. I open my eyes to see a beautiful butterfly cake if you have not figured it out by now I'm obsessed with butterflies they're so beautiful. I like them since I was younger and I still like them today I've got to say most of my clothes are probably have butterflies all over them.

The night is almost over when we hear a knock on the door. Alex goes and gets it. I smell mint and pine I follow the smell to the door to see Alex talking to Chris the head warrior. He looks up at me and Violet my wolf starts yelling.mate mate. She say.

I see Chris look at me from head to toe before saying. Mate. Alex turns around to see who he was looking at. When she sees it's me she smiles but also looks a little taken aback. Chris walks over to me and picks me up Alex lets out a warning growl. This causes Chris to put me down and submit to my sister. Hope go back to your party. Alex tells me before walking over to Chris.

I just nod and had back to the party. Why using my new found power that I haven't told anybody about that I can eavesdrop or hear things from miles away. I listen deeply to their conversation. Chris that's hope you know my little sister. Alex says. I could hear him make a sound of shock before saying. But hope it's only four that girl's clearly older. Chris says but she makes me pile a little he sees me as a little girl.

I'm feeling this way but I'm going to guess it's because he's my mate. You know how I'm a true alpha Chris will apparently a child is given to a true alpha as a gift from the goddess Hope was mine and apparently after they shift they start aging the day of their birthday every Friday I hope has been aging today is her last Friday birthday until her aging goes back to normal. Alex tell him.

But that's strange usually a wolf can tell if they're there mate even if they're at a young age. Chris says which makes me even more sadder because he thinks I'm not because he couldn't tell when I was littler. Not the true alpha or the protector of the true alpha also known as the goddesses gift. You wouldn't have been able to know and she wouldn't have been able to know until she reached of age which was last Friday. Alex says.

I'm a little discouraged with an understatement I just go to my room and crawl into my bed crying. Can't believe he only looked at me as a little girl when he found out it was me hope Roseanne. I put my head in my pillow and slowly drift asleep. I'm waking up by my door opening and someone sitting in my bed. I feel that move piece of my hair behind my ears by the Sparks I could tell it was Chris.

I just pretend to be asleep so he'll leave. But he doesn't he just sits there watching me. I know you're awake. Chris says. I just ignore him and continue to pretend to be asleep. I don't know why you're mad at me or ignoring me please explain to me hope. Chris says with a sad tone. This time I open my eyes to look at him feeling bad about ignoring him.

But as soon as I open my clothes I'm again so he doesn't know I open them but from the sigh I heard from him I could tell he knew he saw. All he did was play with my hair and hum a lullaby till I slipped into sleep.
