The Elf Exploded

It's been 2 months ever since Asnor had started honing his chaos magic to crack the gate system of building he had infiltrated.

Right now, Asnor could been seen standing outside the building.

'I definitely got to do it outside the building since there are chances in my plan failing.'

Asnor then started to focus on his chaos magic to influence the elf's body.

Inside a huge hall, 100 magical guards could be seen patrolling around an luxurious coffin. Magical guards varies in appearances.

Some of the magical guards was 2 feet tall with red black coloured material covering. They were also 2 feet ta. At first glance, it may seem like 2 feet human inside a huge armor.

One other kind of magical guard had the appearance of a four footed animal with blue black colored material covering.

There was also a flying kind of magical guard which had four thrusters in each of it's corners that helped itself in flying. It had yellow black colored material covering. It was 0.5 feet tall.

There were also occasional scans inside the hall to ensure the safety of the body inside.

Inside the coffin, a very handsome elf with green colored hair could be seen. Dead magic has by now completely filled inside the dead the body. There is nothing that the defense system could do to keep the dead magic out of the elf's body.

Out of nowhere, the dead magic inside the elf's body started reacting. Scanners detected an anomaly and an alarm rang out.

All the magical guards got in battle formation in preparation for the unknown threat.

'I got the dead magic to give birth to chaos magic that I can utilize anytime I want. It's time to corrupt the elf's body entirely with chaos magic.'

The chaos magic using dead magic as catalyst start growing inside the elf's body. By the time dead magic inside the elf's body got completely swapped with chaos magic, half of the total number of magical guards have already arrived to protect the coffin from any external threat.

Asnor couldn't help but smile when he had realized that the plan was proceeding smoothly.

'I wonder what kind of damage I will cause? It doesn't matter. It's time to execute the final step in implementing the plan.'

Suddenly, the elf's dead body started moving. All the magical guards and the scanners that have assembled started focusing on the elf's body more intensely. Eventually the chaos magic started reacting intensely. It didn't take long before the scanners discovered the signs of explosion but it was too late.

BOOM!

Asnor heard a boom sounded more like from a shotgun rather than a thunderclap which in turn was followed by a sustained roar.

Asnor didn't know the true extent of damage but he could easily predict it from the manner in which the ground was shaking.

Asnor had a worried expression on his face.

GROWL!

'Huh?', it was only then did Asnor realize that he wasn't the only one who had felt the explosion despite being outside of the building.

Asnor then teleported away.

Only smoke could be seen inside the hall which had previously contained coffin which had contained the elf's body. Despite the elf body unexpectedly being exploded, the building was still capable of preventing any water from flowing inside the building.

A while later, the smoke was cleared up. Only one of the upper floors, ground floor, 1st underground floor which contained the coffin that had the elf body, and the 2nd underground floor were ruined.

Magical guards that been guarding and patrolling around the coffin were completely ruined. Only some barely survived.

It didn't take long before the scanners started scanning inside the hall which had exploded. The scanners then discovered something very terrifying.

A unique dark mist could be seen originating from where the explosion had originated from. At first glance, the mist would seem no different than the dead magic. But it was very different by a huge degree. Another alarm was sounded out but this time it was a very large one.

The magical guards that had barely survived slowly started transforming. Magical guards now had black colored covering. Black colored smoke could be seen coming out of the magical guards.

One of the magical guards, a four footed animal like magical guard then started dashing towards a wall to smash at it.

BAM!

But the wall withstood the magical guard's attack. Eventually, other magical guards also dashed at the walls which still hadn't been destroyed. The flying magical guard then floated upwards to try crash into next upper floor or on a wall on higher floor.

The four footed anime like magical guard that that had attacked first, started enveloping itself by dark magic and then just dashed at the wall again.

BAAM!

Other magical guards also started utilizing the dark magic to destroy the the walls or ceilings. But nothing happened, the building still stood strong.

Meanwhile outside the building,

Asnor could see something very terrifying crashing onto the palace like building.

BAM! BAM!

The snake like dragon kept crashing itself onto the invisible building. Asnor's entire body vibrated due to intense vibration generated in underwater due to the clash between the building and the snake like dragon. Other dead beats could be seen behind the dragon.

Asnor couldn't help but be worried upon witnessing the number of dead beasts.

'If this army of dead beasts gets outside this dead land, the entire world order will be thrown upside down. Too terrifying!', Asnor just shivered upon having these crazy imaginations.

Asnor then glanced at the building.

'This is not good! I didn't think about these dead beasts when I had implemented the plan. I will leave it all up to luck now. I don't how this chaos magic will affect defense system. I just hope a good result. Normally, whoever had created the defense system would have been prepared against my kind of magic but it seems I was wrong.'

'When the elf body had first exploded due to instability, the body had then turned into a dark mist that had the intention of infecting everything around itself. Thus, the magical guards also got infected.'

'The same goes for defense systems but there was a barrier between defense systems to counter against magic like mine. But it was more like a temporary measure just like the temporary isolation measure when it comes to plagues.'

'Unfortunately, the moment the defense system was alerted to sound out the alarm, for a moment, the entire defense system of building was connected. That moment was enough for the infection to spread.'

'As long there is an intention or purpose, the chaos magic can help the infection spread towards wherever this intention moves towards inside this defense system.'

'When the intention for alarm to be rung was transmitted to the entire building, infection also spread along with it. It's just a matter of time before the defense system crumbles.'

It didn't take long before glitches started appearing inside defense system. Lights started glitching before turning off, the scanners that were scanning the magical guards that were smashing at walls and ceiling was turned off.

The walls of the building started turning dark but they didn't break at all. Eventually, the magical guards started exploding by themselves.

BOOM! BOOM! BOOM! BOOM! BOOM!

But nothing happened to the wall.

Even the snake like dragon couldn't smash apart the building despite it's air defense system being malfunctioned. But there is a difference, the building ain't invisible anymore to the dead beat army but it still stood strong.

Eventually, the snake like dragon and the dark beast army retreated and just swam around the building, especially the snake like dragon.

Asnor teleported himself across the the first gate system.

"I finally understood as to why the walls didn't break despite the air defense system being corrupted by my chaos magic. Hmm? Corrupt? It seems like the right word to say for when my chaos magic does something to beasts or whatever."

Asnor glanced at the darkened walls. Asnor could easily recognize everything that's going on inside the building since he has finally got his sensory capabilities back.

"This would've been impossible by myself. That elf was truly very unordinary. I didn't expect explosion to be so intense. I also only expected the defense system to be partially destroyed, not like this."

"I just wanted an interference effect upon the defense system and the explosion I had expected would have done just that. But this went beyond my expectation."

"The reason the walls stood so strong was because of magic enhancement, another anomaly that I didn't expect. I didn't expect the magical enhancement to be this strong. Luckily, the explosion went beyond my imagination."

"This building is much stronger than I had ever imagined or else it wouldn't have been able to defend against that snake dragon."

Asnor then teleported himself in a destroyed space that seemed like from where the explosion had originated from.

The dark mist could be seen floating around but nothing happened to Asnor himself.

'Dark mist is the chaotic version of my magic. I just need to make my own magic seem chaotic and it wouldn't attack me. I wouldn't have been able to figure this out if not for the combined effect of my flaw sensing power and my own sensory powers.'

Asnor looked above. It seemed like Asnor was standing in a huge dug space. But that was just because this was where the explosion had originated from.

'It seems that the nearby magical guards were evaporated. I can't believe I was able to witness such an intense explosion, that is, indirectly from outside the building.'

Asnor just could not help but have a very worried expression upon his face thinking about the explosion.

'Would I have been able to escape by teleportation if that explosion had went beyond the building. Maybe, maybe not.', Asnor just shivered upon having this thought.

'No. That wouldn't have happened. I just knew that there would've been problem due to my flaw sensing power. My only worry was regarding whether the defense system would malfunction such a degree that I could infiltrate."

"Defense system would have been able to protect itself from infection if source of it wasn't so terrifying because it could. The elf was just a dead body. That's why I have been able to infect him. Or else it would have never worked.'

'It doesn't matter anyway. Right now, I need figure out whether is anything salvageable here that could be utilized for my own benefit.'
