Team Conflict Between Five Young Magi

"You're right! There is no way I would protect a bitch like her.", spoke Kronos mockingly and angrily while glaring at Athena.

"W-what did you just call me, a bitch?! It was your fault for falling under my influence in just one hour. That wasn't the case for others. Instructor said to give it my everything in the sparring session. It's your fault for being so weak mentally, you bastard!"

"w-WHAT?!? MENTALLY WEAK!? I DARE YOU TO TELL THAT TO MY FACE AGAIN, YOU BITCH!", spoke Kronos angrily while glaring venomously at Athena.

"I WILL! Only you among the other four class mates of mine was mentally weak enough to fall under my influence in just one hour. WHAT WILL YOU DO NOW?!"

Kronos angrily stood up while glaring venomously at Athena.

Athena had a confident expression. But then suddenly out of nowhere, her face became pale. Athena then looked over at her instructor and asked,

"Did you by any chance?"

Fauxis spoke nonchalantly, "Hmm? Oh yeah. My magic was used to influence his brain to wake him up. So... I also removed your influence over him So, he ain't your puppet anymore.

Athena while glancing between her instructor and Kronos who was slowly walking towards her.

"Instructor, he's going to harm me!", spoke Athena while looking pitiful towards Fauxis.

But Fauxis just smiled while looking at Athena and Kronos as if he was looking forward to whatever was going to happen.

Kronos then clenched his hands to into fists followed by enveloping of dark violet energy or magic around his fists. Kronos then stared at Athena who was just shivering.

"Please, help me! Instructor, please. Asnor, why don't you help me? Natsuko? Aramis?"

"That's enough! Are you going to use your magic just like that at her?", spoke Aramis

"No. I would just beat her up with my ordinary fists for making me a puppet of hers. If I use magic, instructor would definitely interfere. I am sure of that fact."

"So, you would use your magic enveloped fists if instructor wasn't here?"

"Once. I would like to hit her with my lethal fist once. She would definitely be able to recover. She's my class mate in the end. I should be kind unlike herself."

Aramis then looked towards Fauxis and asked, "What should we do, instructor? In the end, you're our instructor. This kind of fighting cannot exist between team mates."

Kronos then asked, "Team?"

Fauxis then smirked and said, "That's right. You guys are a team, not a class, at least for the next 3 years. This kind of team conflict can't continue for the sake of stability inside team. Asnor, what would you do?"

"Don't tell me that you're going to make me the team leader! I hate leadership roles. I would rather be the one who creates team conflict instead of solving them."

"What if I tell you that you have no choice but to be the team leader?"

Everyone then glanced at Asnor including Athena and Kronos.

"If I decide to do something like to never be a team leader, then I will never be one. I always think before making a important decision like this. If I hadn't known that someone of leadership quality other than myself was in the team like Aramis Doyle, I would have never agreed to be part of this team. I can assist him, that's the best I can do. I would never be a leader unless my life is under threat or if my body would be permanently injured. But you can't do none of those, instructor.", spoke Asnor nonchalantly.

Fauxis then stared at Asnor for a while.

Fauxis then started laughing intensely, "Hahahahahaha."

"True! But I can make your life hard."

"Then I will become the troublemaker of team."

"Then you would undergo harsh punishments."

"I am okay with it as long as I don't become the team leader."

Fauxis furrowed his brows and stared at Asnor.

'This guy is truly challenging my patience. DAMN IT! I THOUGHT I COULD HAVE FUN TEASING AND BULLYING THESE YOUNG MAGI FOR THE NEXT THREE YEARS BUT I WAS WRONG!!!'

Fauxis sighed heavily.

"All right. You win. Aramis Doyle will become the team leader while Asnor will become the assistant leader."

Everyone except Asnor and Fauxis was dumbfounded upon witnessing such a heated conversation between Asnor and Fauxis.

"Don't think that you guys would get the same treatment as he gets. If he wasn't of Gremory Family, I would have treated him much harshly. But now that I think about it, you would have definitely become team leader if not for the fact that you were from Gremory Family, aren't I right?"

"Yes. You're right about that fact, instructor."

"Then solve this situation for now. Aramis is too inexperienced to solve this problem between Kronos and Athena."

"I am here just to assist Aramis, team leader of the team instructed by the great instructor, Fauxis Unified."

"Bastard, are you mocking me?!", asked Fauxis angrily

"You're going to be my instructor for the next three years. The fact that we don't even have the chance to request a replacement for you means that you're a very great instructor. I think you're misunderstanding me. It was kind of an indirect way of once again announcing Aramis's position in our team. That was all there is to it."

"If that's the case, then it's all right.", spoke Fauxis nonchalantly.

"From what I have saw and heard. I can only see one fault on Athena's side.", everyone then carefully started listening to Asnor, especially Athena but Kronos intervened,

"One fault, you say? One fault!? She had many flaws. How dare you say that she has only one flaw?"

"Hey Aramis!", spoke Asnor while running towards Aramis in a roundabout way around Kronos.

"Bastard!" Kronos then stood between Asnor and Aramis.

Aramis then dashed in Asnor's direction.

Aramis then observed Asnor like how a predator would observe it's prey.

"I ask you to take it back!"

"Kronos. Can you realize now as to who is the one increasing chances of team conflict?"

"Who else but Athena?"

"Then what do you think you are doing now? Right now in everyone's mind, you're the one who is the source of creating team conflict, that is, a troublemaker."

"W-what?", asked Kronos in a dumbfounded manner.

"Hehehe"

Kronos glanced at the one who had laughed and it was none other than Athena.

"Athena's fault is her attitude. This is a serious conversation yet she laughed. It's her innate tendency to mock people who doesn't get things done in a way she prefers.", spoke Asnor.

"WHAT DID YOU SAY?!", exclaimed Athena.

"Do you know who I am? Even this unordinary instructor will go easy on me. If anyone dare harms a Magus of Gremory Family, consequences are in fact worst case scenario. I hope you understand what I mean."

"I understand. That was just an instinctive response. I am very sorry.", Athena then bowed down by kneeling.

Everyone got dumbfounded except Asnor and Fauxis by Athena's response.

"I know. You can get up, Athena."

Athena got up slowly. She then bowed once more by saying, "I'm very sorry."

Asnor continued, "As for others who are curious regarding her instantaneous response, she is an idol family's child. I know about this fact because her family is in fact very popular. She knows the true consequences of offending a Magus of Gremory Family. Like I said before, this instructor is very unordinary or else he would have definitely tried to please me. As for you, Kronos. You kept trying to protest against me despite knowing my surname is Gremory. You're letting your anger take control of yourself. Try to control it. Your angry is the key reason as to why the current situation has become this messy."

Kronos's face became pale after his realization regarding what he had done.

"I am sorry. I am very sorry.", Kronos also bowed down but didn't kneel down like Athena.

"Your faults are impatience, violence addiction, selfishness and also anger-driven attitude."

Asnor then glanced at Aramis who had already arrived in front of him to protect himself from Kronos just in case.

Asnor continued, "Aramis, that's all there is it. I hope you got an rough idea as to how to handle this situation. Oh yeah, violence related cases are supposed to be handled by the instructor. Reminding you just in case."

Aramis smiled back in response and replied,

"Yeah. In short, Athena's attitude can be fixed by means of communication. But Kronos's case is troublesome. I guess it's because of his anger."

Kronos couldn't help but have a disgruntled expression on his face upon hearing what Aramis had said but no one could witness his facial expression since he still had his head bowed down.

"Yes. So, if that's all there is to it, I will just go and grasp some weapons for the sake of training in my own room. Instructor, it's fine, right? It's impossible for us to have a team fight with you considering our current situation."

"Yes. Oh yeah. If you're going to utilize weapons, you need to ask for my permission before utilizing them. Asnor, for now just show me the weapons you want to use for your own training inside your room. I will verify it for the sake of your own safety. I only have the same thing to say to everyone else."

Fauxis continued, "Normally, weapons won't be displayed like this for the sake of safety in case of team conflict. But I'm allowing it since I can guarantee your safety as long as it's within training ground. Finally, Athena. In your case, the rules are slightly different. Let's have a brief talk after everyone picks up their weapons for the sake of training."

Inside Fauxis's room,

Fauxis sighed as he thought about everything that had happened today.

'I had expected Kronos's fight with Athena as inevitable. But who would have thought that instead of myself, it was Asnor who had resolved the situation in the end. Elaine Gremory, I am finally understanding as to why you wanted me to be his personal teacher. It's so annoying having to set up an environment in which Asnor has no such but to improve himself. But why do I get the feeling that he can improve himself smoothly without my help. Well, I will try my best as his personal teacher.'

Fauxis then thought about Athena, 'The other person I have to pay attention to is Athena. She is a double edged sword. I have make sure that she grows up in such a manner so that she would bring no harm to Gremory Family. It's too tiresome being an instructor.'
