Chapter 14

Soon it was nighttime and Logan said to Alex," we should go back now and we will reach your house by 11 pm."

Alex nodded and said," Thank you for this lovely time."

Logan smiled and hugged her, Alex was surprised by his sudden move but quickly calmed down and hugged him back. Logan didn't stop at that and pushed her a little while still holding her shoulders and kissed her. Alex was stunned by Logan's this move and it was not a kiss which you would say was perfect at least but it had a lot of meaning.

Logan pulled himself and said," Ahm, I think we should move quickly or we will be late."

Alex nodded and followed him to his car, both of them sit in the car and Logan drove in silence for a while but suddenly lose his patience and asked," Okay, why are you silent all of sudden? if you don't like my actions please tell me."

Alex was surprised by Logan's sudden burst but replied calmly," Why would I ever have a problem with you kissing me I mean you're my boyfriend and I didn't say anything because it was just sudden and I didn't know how to react to the situation so I chose to stay silent as you also weren't saying anything."

Logan smiled and said," I didn't want to sound mean but it makes me worried that you would think I some kind of psycho."

Alex smiled and said," I would never think that."

Logan nodded with a smile and after driving for some time they come in front of Alex's house. Alex said goodbye to Logan and went inside her home and Logan drive away.

Inside Alex's House

When she entered the home she saw Hailey standing in front of her with her trademark smile and asked," So how was your date with your boyfriend?"

Alex frowned and said," Oh why would I tell you that?"

Hailey made an emotional face and said," Well aren't we best friends Alex and who will you ask for dating tips when you will need tips? of course, me, who else will help you?"

Alex thinks for a moment and asked," What do you want?"

Hailey smiled awkwardly and said," Well I want to ask a little favour from your boyfriend."

Alex folded her arms and asked," What is that little favour you want to ask him?"

Hailey said," Well Taylor Swift is going to perform here in Los Angeles and I bragged that your boyfriend is a good friend of mine my friends asked me if he could arrange VIP passes for her concert and I said yes."

Alex was surprised and said," how could you say yes, you two don't even talk to each other."

Hailey said," I know I was wrong but I still said yes and now only you can help me with this or they won't give up a chance to make jokes on me."

Alex asked," Then why are you friends with people like them?"

Hailey said with a sigh," To stay popular in school you have to be part of a cool group or you will just like a trend which becomes popular for 2 days and then gone."

Alex asked last time," okay I will try but don't get your hopes up, I can't guarantee anything."

Hailey nodded with a grateful expression and went to her room but on the way her grateful expression turned into a victorious smile.

Alex here was thinking that what should she do and how will she tell Logan about it because if she said that she also wants to go then Logan will also want to go with her but Alex knew if she tell him that Hailey asked for tickets then with Logan's personality he will never agree.

Alex made up her mind and decide to ask Logan tomorrow about this. when she thought that she could just go back to her room Claire come and said," Come in the living room honey, I have. something to tell you."

Alex nodded and followed Claire to the living room and saw Phil sitting on the couch who said Hii after seeing Alex.

Claire gestured for her to sit on the couch and Alex sit in front of them Claire said," Look dear I and your father know that you like Logan very much he is a nice guy but we think both of you should control your relationship a little."

Phil was shaking his head behind Claire indicating that he don't know anything about this and stopped when Claire looked at him and nodded. Claire continued," We don't care about what people are saying in news, neighbourhood, school, or my gym and..... *she said names of at least hundreds of people * we don't care about them but I think your school life will be affected by this."

Alex nodded and said," I understand and I will try to do what you said."

Claire and Phil smiled and Alex went back to her room and exhaled after laying on the bed.
