Mobuseka: The Black Heron.

What if instead of Leon, someone who had a very dark past with psychotic tendency replace him? What if he is a freak, a sadist with masochistic tendency? What if he initially look like a barbarian, what if he is a gentleman?

Chapter 30: Lunch With The Scholarship Student.(3)

I glanced down at the girl sprawled across my chest, irritation bubbling up inside me.

What the hell was wrong with her?

As I focused intently on her face, a scent wafted through the air.

Wow, that's a cliché. I sighed lightly.

"Luxion."

The small metallic orb materialized in front of me with a soft hum.

"Do you have any justification for your actions?"

"I don't recall ever needing one," it replied, its tone infuriatingly casual.

"You're quite the shameless fellow, aren't you? Was it really necessary to include cakes with alcohol content?"

"I merely followed your command, Master. If anything it is your fault. If I recall correctly, your order was to recreate the most delicious foods from the surrounding area. That was precisely what I did."

"And conveniently, a cake with alcohol happened to be one of them?"

"Taste is subjective, after all. And according to the customer, it was the most delectable option."

I decided this conversation was going nowhere, so I turned my attention back to Olivia, who was sleeping soundly like the kitten beside me.

"Clean up this place, Luxion."

After issuing my command, I gently lifted Olivia onto my back.

True to form, Luxion went about his work, and the mess around us dematerialized into thin air.

"Don't forget Snowy." I gestured to the fluffy ball of fur that had stirred awake amidst all the commotion.

Luxion grumbled something about "this is humiliation for AI" and "unacceptable," but he lowered himself, waiting for the fluff ball to climb onto him.

It was a familiar sight, it was how I showed this shameless and arrogant AI where it stood.

And the best part is that I could almost sense the strain on Luxion's ego from such a menial task.

Anyway, I ignored the antics and adjusted Olivia on my back, shifting her weight for a more comfortable position.

Taking advantage of the low traffic during class hours, I made my way back to my dorm.

Once I laid her down on my bed, I stepped out again and instructed Luxion to tidy up Olivia's room.

As I rested on a bench by the campus, leaning my head back against the support, I noticed a girl with rolled blonde hair approaching me from behind.

With a complete lack of interest in my tone, I spoke without turning.

"Is there anything I can do for you My Lady?" My posture might have seemed disrespectful, but I was certain she appreciated it all the same.

"Would there be something you can do for me?" she replied, her voice light yet assertive.

"My lady, allow me to rephrase that: What brings you to this place where I am?"

"What brings me here? I, Deirdre Fou Roseblade, am intrigued by your presence, so I decided to come Fu fu."

She walked around the bench to stand in front of me, a fan delicately held in her hand.

"Your recent campaign has piqued my interest, Baron. I must admit, it was quite the captivating story."

"It was never my intention to pique your interest, but thank you."

She hid her mouth behind the fan and added, "You are remarkably fearless, aren't you? Surely, you must be aware of my lineage. I am Deirdre Fou Roseblade, a member of the esteemed Roseblade family."

What the hell was wrong with her?

She hadn't approached me all this time, and just when I was least prepared, she showed up, derailing my plans to conquer her.

With a mix of annoyance and forced politeness, I replied, "Certainly, I have heard. The Roseblade ancestry is great, after all—"

She elegantly pointed the fan at me. "Yes, yes, our ancestry is indeed great, but it is not merely our heritage that defines us. It is our actions and choices that truly shape our legacy. What are your thoughts on that?"

It felt like she was bragging, hoping I'd take the bait and jab at her family. Was I mistaken about her intentions?

I squinted at her.

Unlike her novel counterparts, this woman seemed to have zero social empathy.

She radiated arrogance, flaunting her family name.

However for a high noble, tolerating my behavior was somewhat commendable.

Still, she was far worse than the characters I'd read about.

With an artificial smile, I spoke again.

"Allow me to finish, my lady. As I was saying, the Roseblade ancestry is indeed great. I've heard that your household descends from adventurers who conquered countless dungeons and flying islands, contributing significantly to the kingdom."

"Indeed, indeed," she replied, the satisfaction evident in her voice.

I paused for a moment after she finished, letting the silence hang for maximum impact.

"But I've never heard anything noteworthy about Deirdre Fou Roseblade herself."

In an instant, that cheeky smile vanished from her face.

We maintained eye contact for a few seconds, and I sensed she expected me to take back my words.

But contrary to her expectations, I held my ground, and I noticed her face growing increasingly flushed.

It wasn't the kind of red that suggested embarrassment.

No, it was something else entirely. How to put it delicately? She looked... intrigued., yeah that.

If I wanted to use descriptive language, I'd say she is aroused.

Her expression transformed into that of a woman in heat.

Just as she was about to speak, a noise from behind us broke the tension—it was her entourage calling out to her.

When I turned back to her, her face had already returned to its normal composure.

"You intrigue me even further," she said, her tone calm once more. "I would be delighted to arrange another meeting. Let us continue this engaging conversation soon."

At the end of her sentence, I caught a glimpse of that slightly aroused expression returning for a split second before she stood up and walked towards her entourage.

After exchanging a few words with them, they flattered her, and then they promptly left.

"That was a damn weird experience," I muttered to myself.

She was far more arrogant than her novel counterpart, and judging by our interaction, much crazier than I had read about.

Author's Note: Lmao, I thought I've upload this yesterday... I apologize for my lateness.

Anyways, do you want a complicated overarching plot or a satisfying one?
