Chapter 17 - Inn and Statue

"There you go"

I said while paying for letting us in.

We stopped in a Village to rest and eat she split with me and went to sell the monsters and things she got from her previous team.

I went to look around the village and finding nothing interesting I went to the inn.

Inside the inn, I saw Andy who was already tired and hungry so she finished the food fast and immediately went inside the room to sleep while I was slowly eating some fish with beer.

When I finished I went inside the room and started playing with a piece of wood that I summoned for myself my hands in human form are extremely sharp so I started sculpturing while Andy was sleeping.

Around 3 hours later I heard people coming closer to our room thinking we were sleeping I knew what they came there for as I felt their intention but I didn't bother with them now that they had come here I would deal with when they came inside.

Sitting in the room I continued playing with wood well no a statue of Ei or Raiden shogun well they look the same so whatever when I finished it was life-like looking as if she was there in person but it was just wood so I summoned something to paint her with and started Coloring.

They didn't come inside instantly they were spreading sleep and paralysis magic it seems they didn't do it only once but they are extremely slow so slow that I finished coloring the statue already and started getting bored if you want to rob and rape just do it already.

As I was cursing them inside my mind they finished with the magic and started opening the door I didn't move just stared at the door while making making mini sword for Ei.

When one of them came inside and looked around he saw me looking at him with my red blood-like eyes he got frightened by the sheer pressure of me looking at him he saw things he couldn't and didn't want to understand while also being unable to move.

When I stopped staring at him he yelled to others who came with him to help and kill him well they saw me and rushed at me.

I didn't move and they didn't feel it but they got into another dimension they stayed there for a long time with me, having fun with them like making realistic illusions where they killed me did the deed then lived how they would like but one day they start losing everything over and over once by they own hand other by others every time was different way but they couldn't resist and would feel the need to try to do it again to despair later.

When I came out of the dimensional not even a second passed and I continued to make the sword till the morning.

Andy and I then continued Traveling for around 2 days she tried to kill me 3 times but never succeeded of course I also never mentioned what happened here.

Tomorrow is the day we part ways as we already are close to the kingdom but seems that she is interested in going with me well she can join the cult so why not?

"So why do you have a statue like this? Are you one of the otherworlders? I saw one of them having something similar so maybe."

She said interested when she saw the statue of Ei I made not too long ago.

"I'm something like that you could say I have memories of otherworlder."

I don't mind saying some things it won't change anything anyway.

"Ooo is that your unique skill?"

She asked a personal question at least in this world but she's right while I'm The Misfortune now before I absorbed it I had a unique power to devour anything now I still retain it and it's way stronger but I use it to devour souls.

Other beings like me can't do it in the same way as me they can devour souls but not without consequences like me so they have to cleanse these souls of memories and powers making them purr while I just devour them with everything.

While it may seem that it is useless as most of us have autopotence it isn't this power makes me strongest as I can kill beings like me permanently by devouring them without any consequence getting their authority but I don't do it and just use it to eat souls that are stupid or unlucky to meet me and just in one second there is a gigantic amount of souls I devoured most of them are the unlucky ones. I also start feel like otaku with those memories of anime will have to go to one of these earths and watch some

"You could say I was born with this skill so yeah."

I replied and she just nodded we then proceeded to go without talking anymore.
