In the early hours of the day, Daisy found herself nestled on the couch in the library, a notebook cradled in her hands. Seeking solace in a practice her mother often adopted during trying times, she decided to jot down her thoughts. And unsurprisingly, her thoughts circled around Rhain.

With a determined hand, she divided the page into two columns. On one side, she would list everything she liked about him, and on the other, she'd pen down the things she didn't.

Starting with the positive, she poised her pen over the page. He was kind... 

Her pen stilled, a wave of doubt washing over her. Could she truly classify him as 'kind' when he had chased her around the house, lied to her?

Inhaling deeply, she pressed on. Striking out the word 'kind', she chose to record his actions rather than tying vague adjectives to his character.
