Daisy found her thoughts scattering as they reached his room, her worries completely overshadowed by the potent proximity of Rhain as he placed her down and pulled her against him. His lips found hers with a fervor that seemed to scorch her very soul, drawing her into a maelstrom of sensations that made her forget about anything and everything else.

With a skill that belied his apparent youth, Rhain began to undress her with a deftness that was nothing short of fascinating while their lips remained locked. He steered them back toward the bed as he left her in nothing but her chemise, and then his words broke through the haze of her desire.
