Evelyn changed the topic and said, "Isn't the decoration beautiful? I especially volunteered to look after the decorations this time!" She said excitedly. Elora smiled and praised her, "Yes, indeed. It does look beautiful. "

While the two friends were talking, the rest of some beautiful ladies, looked at them with hatred. A vampiress gritted her teeth and said, "Just look at her! Only because, the Princess is a little close to her, she is showing off her airs!"

Another vampiress nodded her head in agreement and said while sipping on her blood, "Seems like being absent from the social gatherings had made her forget her manners too."

The girls talked ill behind Elora while forgetting that it was never Elora who buttered them to join in their conversation. It was always them, who wanted to stand out and get close to the royal family through her. And today, because she looked more eye catching, and was potentially their competitor, they found her character as a flaw.

While they did not realise that, the looks that they were giving her were enough to stop her from even looking at them.

A she- wolf then said, "I wonder what they are talking though?" The first vampiress sneered and then said, "God knows. Maybe she is taking notes from the Princess on how to hook the Prince. What can be expected from her other than that!"

The second girl scoffed and said, "As if the prince would fall for some cheap tricks. Haven't you heard that the prince hates those girls who use second hand tricks!"

The she- wolf who asked huffed and said, "That's what she deserves!"

Though, these ladies were all vampiress and werewolves, yet they could not hear the conversation between them. Though Vampires and werewolves had better hearing, it is only slightly more clear than the humans. As the generation of these supernatural beings evolved, they became less violent and the more reduced their abilities. They couldn't hear any of their conversation.

While, those girls were bad mouthing about her, Elora couldn't care less, as she talked to Eveyln. "And why is the royalty holding the coronation ceremony so soon? Prince Ivan did not even complete his trial rule period yet." She asked the question that was on her mind, that no one seemed to talk about.

It was the law in the country, if the King is alive and well, then the Prince had to go through a ruling period, that is a trial rule, for six months, before crowning him as the new King. But in this case, Ivan just did the ruling period for 3 months before crowning him as a King.

This tradition has been followed by almost five generation of the Carrin family, only to be made changes now.

Lucy too took a wine glass, from a passing servant before taking a sip and said, "Yes, I am confused about it too. Noone in the last five generation has done it, from the time the rule was established. And if one was to say, I always found Father in a good health these days. He didn't look sick to me. I am also confused about what the real matter is. This was all of a sudden decided by the inner court one day. "

Elora nodded and didn't stretch the topic too long with Eveyln. But she felt that this was especially suspicious. And adding more to her suspicion was the fact that the royal family which always had a row printed about them in the newspaper, recently had almost disappeared from the news. Also, for a good couple of months, nothing had been published about the relations between Caria and foreign and neighbouring kingdoms. As if news about things happening out of the border of the Kingdom has been banned.

Elora was only thinking of it when royal guard loudly announced the presence of King Ernest Carrin, Queen Viola Carrin and Prince Ivan Carrin.

Everyones presence almost immediately went to the handsome family descending from the stairs. Mostly the Prince and the Princess makes their presence first the hall and mingle with the guests, and then the King and the Queen makes a posh entry. But today was different. Today was the Coronation day of the Prince, so he was equally important as the King and the Queen.

As they were reached the last stairs, everyone bowed to them in respect. Soon, one by one everybody started to greet them, some congratulated and some prayed for a peaceful and joyful reign ahead under King Ivan Carrin, which the royal family gladly received.

But the main focus of the hall was Ivan. All the ladies, had their eyes on the handsome prince standing there. Ivan Carrin was a charming man. He was exactly like the Prince charming that any lady who dream of. Like the one who would ride on a white horse and save the damsel in distress and then take you away with him for a happily ever after future.

Ivan had dark brown hairs and light brown eyes, that almost sometimes looked golden, which was fair, as he was were wolf. He had a fair skin that was lightly tanned, that added to his masculinity.

And today as he was clad in a white royal coat, with golden chains and buttons decorated in the ends, his hairs combed back neatly, he was sure a feast in eyes. His look made the female's heart race, especially the young ones who gazed at him, as if he was their prey.
