Chapter Fifteen: Sports Festival And The Taste Of Revenge

The next day everyone got up early and started to prepare for the Sports Festival. It started with everyone making their way to class and then getting escorted by their teachers to the stadium. All of the Students stood in front of a platform where a microphone was set upon it. Jeffery then gives a speech motivating everyone to do their best. Mic then announces for Midnight to spin the wheel to see what event they will be doing first. It spins then lands on the obstacle course. Everyone then lines up at the starting line and everything goes the same as cannon except Jeff levitates himself over everything and gets first within the first two minutes by pulling himself forwards at high speeds. Izuku is close second because of full cowling. Bakugou, Todoroki and Roger are tied for 3rd. Followed by everyone else. "Next is the cavalry battles! Choose your teams wisely!" said Midnight. Jeff and Izuku teamed up along with Roger and Uraraka. Roger in the front with a CheetahTank Sparkling form with Uraraka and Izuku in the back. Jeff is on top using his gravity quirk on everyone making them float. He didn't take any from Bakugou knowing how Bakugou feels about it being a fair fight. So he made it to where Bakugou's team could still move normally while everyone else was floating through the air. Skip to the end of cavalry battles. Jeff's team got first while Bakugou's team came in second. The other placements are the same as cannon except 1st place. Now to the 1v1's. Same as cannon except we skip to where it is Jeff v.s Todoroki. Jeff and Todoroki start off the fight with Todoroki sending a massive ice wave at Jeff thinking he won. But to his surprise Jeff had come up with a new technique called gravity shield. Jeff then emerged out of the ice looking pissed. "SO YOU WON'T USE YOUR LEFT SIDE STILL?!" yelled Jeff in a pissed off tone. "I'LL NEVER USE THAT BASTARDS SIDE!!" yelled Todoroki with an annoyed tone. "HIS SIDE? I DON"T SEE HOW IT'S HIS SIDE WHEN IT'S YOUR BODY AND IT'S YOUR QUIRK NOT HIS!!!" yelled Jeff even more pissed off but has some sympathy for it. Todoroki's left side starts to flare up with his flames. He is now half on fire and half frosted. "Thank you…thank you Jeff" said Todoroki as he uses his Flashfreeze Heatwave. Jeff redirects Todoroki's attack back at him and sends Todoroki out of bounds, knocking him out cold. "Jeffery Oladejo wins!" screamed Present Mic. next was Izuku vs bakugou and Izuku won in two different ways. He got his old friend back and he won the match. Bakugou isn't mean to Izuku anymore. "The final match is about to begin!" yelled Present Mic. Izuku and Jeff sat next to each other in the waiting room. When they got out onto the platform to their surprise and Jeff's dismay, there was Xero standing in the middle of the platform. "The next match is Jeffery Oladejo and Izuku Midoriya v.s Xero! -whispering to Mic- who is this Xero kid? I've never seen him before." asked Midnight after she announced the battle. "-Whispering to Midnight- I don't know," said Mic. "You may start the match when you all are ready!" yelled Midnight. Jeff forced Izuku to the edge of the platform and set a gravity field over him keeping Izuku stuck in place while also protected. "Wait! Jeff, what are you doing?! We need to work together!" exclaimed Izuku as Jeff walked away ignoring him. "Oh my what's this? Has the pawn come to try and claim the throne?" said Xero tauntingly. Jeff gets mad at this and starts to attack Xero with killing intent. "Woah! Calm down Jamal, don't pull out the nine!" said Xero taunting Jeff even more. Jeff starts to form a black sphere on his hand. -In Xero's mind- "Oh shit what the hell is that thing? I've never seen it before. All I know is that His next move is to Immobilize me and hit me with that. And what I can tell is that it makes a devastating explosion! -out of Xero's mind- Xero then makes an indestructible barrier around him, Jeff and Izuku. Jeff then sets it to max gravity pull on Xero but it has no effect. Jeff then throws the black sphere and yells, "Gravity Style! Reverse Singularity!". It hurdles towards Xero but then suddenly Xero catches it and condenses it. "What does this do?" asked Xero in confusion. Jeff looks at Xero in shock and defeat and lets Izuku out of the gravity barrier. "Finally come to your senses Jeff?" mocked Xero. "heh" said Jeff. "Next time don't do that. He could have ended this battle right in the beginning but he didn't because he wants us to fight at our fullest potential." whispered Izuku to Jeff. "I guess…" mumbled Jeff. "Come at me!" said Xero mockingly. Jeff and Izuku stand there but then suddenly Jeff launches Izuku using a gravity push. Midair Izuku activates Full Cowling. He bounces around Xero to cause a distraction for Jeff to get close. But Xero noticed from the beginning. Xero swatted Jeff out of bounds with a rubber chicken and then turned around and Izuku was flying at him like a baseball. Xero got in a batter's stance and Izuku was about to dodge but it was too late, Xero already had the upper hand and hit Izuku straight into a wall. "What… the hell just happened!" yelled the crowd. "I-I…Uhhh. Xero wins…" The sports festival came to an end with Izuku and Jeff tied for first while Bakugou is in second with Todoroki in third. Everyone hangs out and has fun at the festival playing festival games and eating the food at the festival. As it got dark everyone had gone home. "Hey Jeff" said Xero right as Jeff was about to leave. "What…" said Jeff. "I'm sorry about what I did. I wanted to tell you but I just couldn't find the courage to do it," said Xero "To hell with your apologies, I spent my entire life thinking you were dead,i mourned you, i thought-i thought you were gone forever but here you are coming back as the new number one hero of the world and swooping in and beating me in the sports festival and, and trying to act like my friend. I just can't let all of this slide,as happy as i am to see you alive and as much as i want things to be normal between us they just aren't and maybe the never will be." says jeff as tears begin to fill his eyes as he then begins to say "Do you even know how i feel,or who I am anymore. For god's sake gabe weren't we supposed to be best friends, I watched you die that day, And it's not like you couldn't tell me all of this you just didn't, so to hell with your apologies. I  don't even know you anymore" jeff then starts to walk away with tears streaming down his face but Xero grabs his arm and begins to say to him  "i understand how you feel and your perfectly right, i didn't and i can only imagine how hurt you feel but i'm asking you to just let me explain everything. I know that I can't ask for your forgiveness but you at least deserve an explanation
