To Planet Euphoria

The training area unlike what most people thought it would look like was filled with capsules where the students where to enter to get to the actual training area.

Jayden and Nate both picked a capsule next to each other, they placed their containers in a separate space and entered the capsule, the machines inside scanned their body to generate a replica in the training space, it also scanned their Mech Suits for its model and any modifications made to it.

A screen popped up in their face showing a space to enter their name.

Without further ado they were transported to the training area, the whole space was white with several platforms placed at intervals where students could spar to their hearts content.

There where some students practicing their skills solely without a partner and there where some who were battling like ferocious beasts. Different models of Mech Suits where all over the place.

Jayden calmed palpitating heart and chose a stage, Nate followed suit and walked to the twenty x twenty meters stage. A count down appeared above them showing the figures T- 5 Seconds.

Immediately, they summoned their Mech Suits.

"Jarvis."

"Beatrix."

Nate's Mech Suit visibly came up faster, but Jayden wasn't worried, the count down hadn't finished so Nate couldn't attack him.

Immediately it reached zero, Nate propelled himself forward with a blast of nitro from under his feets.

Jayden reacted by activating [Swift Steps] his speed immediately increased by ten percent which would last for a total of five minutes at the cost of fifty energy units.

Getting to the middle Jayden launched his fists at Nate and activated [Velocity Punch], the first combination.

Nate dodged easily due to his smaller size and threw a punch of his own, Jayden reacted by activating [Shield], a blue membrane appeared around him some inches away from his Mech Suit. Nate's punch hit the shield hard but it wasn't enough to break it, he performed a back flip and landed some meters back.

Nate spread open his fingers and pointed his palm at Jayden, with a simple thought, small compact energy bullets began to fire out from them. Jayden dodged some but the few that impacted met with the shields resistance.

Jayden deactivated the shield to manage his energy when the onslaught of energy bullets stopped.

Nate ran with his full speed, jumped and threw a punch, the distance was not enough for his punch to impact which puzzled Jayden, he then remembered Nate speaking about a new skill he jad gotten.

Armed with this thought, Jayden braced himself, expecting anything to happen. When Nate's hands reached the stretching limit a one meter sword formed from energy shot out of his arm heading straight for Jayden's Forehead. Jayden twisted his body at an unnatural angle and narrowly dodged the sword attack.

Nate's body was widely open for him to counter attack, Jayden cocked his fist and pulled it back as far as he could and with a might heave, he activated the second combination.

He hit Nate in his ribs as hard as he could, Nate was blasted faster than he could imagine to the edge of the platform, the pain he felt at that moment made him lose all reasoning, he coughed out a mouth full of blood and subconsciously deactivated his Mech Suit.

Jayden not caring if that was his friend or not lifted his leg high and smashed it down with force, Nate's body exploded and splattered blood everywhere like a squizzed tomato.

He deactivated his Mech Suit and exited the virtual space.

Jayden met Nate sitting on the floor panting heavily and sweating buckets.

"Are you okay?" Jayden asked getting worried about his friends condition. He squatted to be at eye level with him. Nate looked at Jayden and images flashed in his head, the image of a towering war machine stomping on his body and scattering his mutilated body parts and blood everywhere.

Nate shuddered and almost screamed. "What is wrong with you!?" It wasn't a question that needed an answer but Jayden replied nonetheless.

"Nothing, it just basic survival instincts."

"Basic!? BASIC!!?" Nate couldn't hold it any longer and began to sob silently.

Jayden felt guilty and helped his friend up, he tried to cheer him up several times but all his words and actions turned on deaf ears. Soon it was time for departure and they both headed back to their rooms. In the center of the room a hole opened up and out of it came a chair, it had several belt on it and was tightly fixed to the floor.

Knowing what to do Jayden sat on the chair and fastened the belts. After this action was done a voice came in through the speaker.

"Attention everyone onboard the ship, please fasten your seatbelts, we are about to take off. I repeat, fasten your seatbelts, we are about to take off. Your compliance will be appreciated. Thank you."

"Here we go, to planet...what was it again?" Jayden thought.

"Oh yeah, here we go, to Planet Euphoria."
