Reunion and Depature

Jayden immediately recognized the two figures as Lewis and Lucy, the adorable twins.

They were happy to see him after days of being apart from each other, they were like little sisters to him and he was like their big bad brother, although he did things that hurt them sometimes, it was never to hurt them, but to make them stronger.

As they closed in on him, they deactivated their Mech Suit, which crumbled down into the the box form. Jayden at first was surprised at this but soon remembered that his Mech Suit was always stored in the Void Space when not in use, and knowing that questions will be raised if he wasn't with it, he immediately gave Nahshon the command to open the Void Space as little as needed, to let the Mech Suits dormant box form come out and land silently on the ground behind him.

The two girls jumped into his arms and hugged him tightly before letting go.

"We were worried about you."

"We thought something had happened when you didn't contact us for a long time."

"We suspected Derrick and his team had done something to you before Nate told us that they chased you down to the gods knows where."

"And we didn't have any proof to pin the blame on them and report to the house masters."

"So we could only wait for your return."

The twins alternated the explanation between themselves.

Hearing their report had softened Jayden's heart, but it soon hardened at the thought of Derrick and his teammates.

"Don't worry, I'm here now." Jayden said as he patted their heads.

"Why don't you tell me about your hunt." Jayden said to lift up their moods. Soon they forgot about what happened to Jayden and began to tell their story.

The Lana twins had fought a lot of Intermediate Tier Beasts and had procured a lot of Energy Orbs, although it was hard to find lone Intermediate Tier Beasts, they managed to kill twenty-five beasts in two days. It was a feat that was definitely above average for students of the Dark Dusk House. They had met Knell during their hunt and gave him their Energy Orbs to keep, since he was the only one in the group with a storage space.

They chatted for a while, while the sun was shining high in the sky, the Lea Beast did a good job in shading them from the sun and soon, the two boys had joined them.

They all shared their stories on their hunts and gave tips to each other as they made their way towards the spaceship.

Jayden had to lie about being unlucky and not procuring Intermediate Tier Energy Orbs, but shocked them when he brought out two Evolved Tier Energy Orbs.

"Holy!!.. Where were you hiding that?" Knell said as he grabbed one Energy Orb and held it high." The twins did the same with the other Orb and scrutinized it thoroughly as if trying to find a flaw in it.

While the three were enjoying the sight of the crystal, Nate approached him and asked.

"How did you get them?"

"I stumbled on two beasts fighting, then finished off the winner after their little battle." Jayden said with a small frown on his face. "It wasn't easy. Evolved Tier Beasts are still strong even in a weakened state."

Jayden didn't like the fact that he had to lie to his best friend, but he made a promise to tell him the truth later, when they were strong enough to protect themselves.

"I'm starving!!" The twins chorused, looked at each other and then giggled.

Knell brought out a pile of grape like fruit and said.

"I found them when I was chasing a squirrel like beast..." He paused and mumbled some curses at the squirrel. ".... Though I don't know if they're edible, I didnt want to end up getting poisoned since I ran out of food, so I walked with only water since then." His stomach growled in response.

"I think they are." Jayden replied as he took one and tossed it into his mouth. "Hmmm... They're nice."

They watched for a while to see any reaction from Jayden, before taking one each. The moment they chewed and were about to swallow, Jayden suddenly held his stomach and heaved, his face contorting in pain, his eyes became blood shot and he began to sway left and right before dropping to his knees, he grabbed his head and groaned before dropping face first into the ground. But before he fell, he thought.

'Damn, I'm a good actor'

The quad who were about to swallow the grapes immediately spat it out from their mouths, the girls began to scream Jayden's name and Knell fell to his knees also and spoke in a barely audible voice.

"I don't feel too good guys."

The girls doubled up and rushed to Knell. Slowly tears began to stream out of their eyes while Nate knelt beside Jayden.

"Jayden!! Jayden!!!. Can you hear me? Stay with me bro! Stay with me." With the sudden reaction of the quad, Jayden couldn't help but let out a loud laugh.

They watched as Jayden rolled on the grass, Laughing His Ass Off.

They realised that it was a prank that Jayden had played on them, Nate lunged at him and playfully began to beat him up, the girls joined him soon and they all began to laugh.

Knell who had 'felt' the effect of the 'food poisoning' got up from the ground. When Jayden began to show weird signs, his body reacted –even though nothing was actually wrong with him– which made others think that he had actually been affected also.

The tension they didn't know they had, was released from their body. It was something they missed a lot, and being together again, they were relieved of some thoughts bothering them for some time.

They enjoyed their journey back to the spaceship and after two days, all students had returned, although there were some unfortunate ones who lost their lives due to overestimating themselves.

A short prayer was held for the lost souls and they finally left Planet Euphoria to return to Planet Grenkar to prepare for the upcoming....

....Interstellar Tournament.
