Gathering Of Surbodinates

Draven waited until his energy recovered, before continuing his conquest. He wasn't given a time limit to complete his task, but he gave himself one, and that was just a week, nothing more, nothing less.

He and Crimson had great teamwork, perhaps due to the mind connection they had, that let them speak telepathically with each other and make decisions in a spilt second, he didn't care, all that mattered was that his task was progressing at a steady pace.

Draven fought different beasts, ranging from flying abominations, to crawling behemoths, or terrifying beasts that conjured and controlled various elements.

The ones that didn't comply and bow to their rule, were killed off in brutal ways and their Energy Orbs were kept in Draven's Shadow.

Crimson was also given some Energy Orbs to solidify his position as a Sovereign Tier beast, and in turn, his Fire Affinity grew stronger and he unlocked some crazy fire skills.

Right now, they stood amidst a once flourishing forest with gigantic trees, green leaves wide enough to cover several meters, dense shrubs and grasses scattered around, and tiny mundane animals that scuttled around and lived happily, but now, the whole forest was on fire.

Crimson stood imposingly in the midst of the burning forest, he had a fierce glare that showed his Burning Rage, a skill he recently unlocked.

Burning Rage, was a skill Crimson unlocked after devouring the Energy Orb of a Fire elemental beast, the skill had a requirement that needed to be met before it could be activated, and Crimson unknowingly, did just that.

Neither Draven nor Crimson knew that he had such a destructive skill, but when they had started fighting a Deer like beast, with an affinity for nature that it used to annoy them both, Crimson snapped.

His eyes that glowed like embers suddenly blazed like an inferno, threatening to burn down anything he stared at.

His flames that were naturally searing hot became hotter, his range of elemental control that shied just a hundred meters increased, and his physical strength seemed to be temporarily tempered and became stronger, and so he went on a rampage and burnt down the whole forest that stretched for close to three kilometers, together with the Deer like beast and several other unfortunate beasts in it.

The Energy Orbs being indestructible were gathered by Draven into his shadow, and they departed.

In another area, they were faced with a Wraith like creature, its regeneration was out of the world, and it refused to die no matter how it was destroyed, wether it being its head destroyed, it's heart ripped out or even its whole body squashed into an ugly paste, it always regenerated at an insane speed, got back up, and fought back with as much vigor.

In the end though, it was turned into a demon by Draven after it refused to leave them alone, even when they decided to let it go.

Draven killed close to five Evolved Tier beasts that refused to join him, and turned the rest.

He could have turned those five Evolved Tier beast, but they were not up to his standards, Jayden might have given him the orders of getting all the beast he sighted, but he refused to give his master bad products but only the best of the best, then he could get the weak ones later.

Within a week, he demonized more than fifteen powerful Evolved Tier beasts, and sent them out to gather more beast and bring then to him, this saved him the stress of hunting himself.

He and Crimson stayed together and fought many more beasts together, it seemed like their teamwork had improved over time and soon, they were dealing with Evolved Tier Beasts in mere minutes.

Draven reached out to the several ethreal strings connecting him with his numerous Demonized Surbodinates, and spoke. 'How many do you have?'

'Ten master.' A voice that sounded like a loud whisper, drifted into his mind.

'Good, Meet me at the required location.' Draven replied.

'I have only seven master, and I'm currently in a battle.' Another voice, this one though, much more deeper and scarier, boomed in his head.

'Deal with it quickly and meet me at the location.'

Several more voices resounded in Draven's head, and he replied to them all in the same fashion, telling them to meet him at a location.

Draven and Crimson stared one last time at the corpse of a massive burning centipede that was impaled with dark spikes, and took off.

Draven checked the crystals that he had collected, they belonged to the beasts that were defiant and ended up dead.

He shifted his gaze away from them and focused on his limbs, pushing them to the limit until everything around him becane a blur. 'We must return in time. I'm having a bad feeling.'

Meanwhile in the arena, Jayden had spent quality time with Natalia, catching up on all the things they had missed.

Natalia was beyond livid when she heard about the current condition of Nate, though she didn't know him much like Jayden did, he was still her friend nonetheless.

So she planned to deal with Derrick and his gang when she had the strength.

After the two day rest period had ended, Jayden had made it to the semi finals within the week, he had realized that during his climb to the current stage, most of the contestants were just cannon fodder and the real deals were just showing themselves.

His battles that usually took no more than five minutes max at the earlier stages, now stretched up to tens of minutes as he faced formidable adversaries.

He had met Ustapians so fast, their movements left behind after images, Asura's so violent, the ground quaked as they unleashed their fury, Zanarians so experienced and versatile in elemental control, they conjured and manipulated terrifying attacks formed from their vast imaginations and many more, and Jayden, with his resolute amd unbending will, showed his own battle side and literally unleashed mayhem on his opponents.

His battle prowess and rage was so much, it manifested in the form of his killing intent and imposed a strong feeling of dread on his opponents, his sword techniques fluid and graceful, that he put the Ascending Fallen Angel to shame as he slaughtered them under the crazed cheers of the crowd.

It shouldn't be farfetched that he was one of the MVPs of the tournament, and even till now, he was still dominating in his fights without Draven by his side.

Just some more fights, and he'll be the second human to win the Interstellar Tournament.
