Draven's Weapon

Everyone suddenly burst into cheers at the wonderful and epic battle that had been given to them by Draven and the Asura.

They didn't care whether it was a Beast Kin that fought, or the fact that one of their own had died, only the adrenaline that pumped through their blood vessels, and kept them on their toes, was what they needed.

Though Draven's fight had made them a little frightened –especially the ending– they still didn't care.

[Draven seriously needs a weapon to boost his battle prowess, and bring out his latent talent]

Nahshon's voice drowned out all the cheers echoing in the arena as he spoke directly into Jayden's head.

[Why don't you give him your Radianium sword, your fighting style is changing drastically with each fight, and you barely use the sword anymore]

Jayden thought about it, he really didn't use his sword some times, like when he killed the Earth Dragon, or when he defeated Kong, and some other times too, but there was a problem.

'The sword is too small for him to use, and I'm not really sure, but there is no place where we can easily get Radianium ore.'

[I know, that is why you will mix another ore with it to create a better and more versatile sword or weapon of his choosing]

'Where will I get another ore that is on par with the Radianium ore, and at the same time, sync properly with it to not let it loose any of its properties?' Jayden asked.

[I don't have that kind of data yet, but if you win the tournament, you will be granted access to any race of your choosing for a duration of one year, and during that year, you will be treated like a guest of honor by the said race]

'...' Jayden.

'WHAT DOES THIS HAVE TO DO WITH DRAVEN'S WEAPON!!!?' Jayden asked, not understanding where Nahshon was going with the sudden explanation.

[There are a lot of races who have great forgers, so if you choose that race with the best forgers, you will be able to strike a deal with them and probably, get them to forge a weapon for Draven]

'Ohh!' Jayden nodded his head in understanding. 'So which race has the best forgers?'

[The Dwarves]

'So I just have to meet a dwarf an....'

'Why is that?' Jayden asked.

[You can only be granted access to a race in the tournament]

Jayden frowned. 'So then why did you tell me the Dwarves when you knew that I wouldn't meet them?!!' Jayden asked with a frown.

[You asked for the best forgers, and I gave you an honest answer]

Jayden turned livid at that statement. 'Must you always be so annoying?!!' He asked with gritted teeth.

Nahshon's lack of reply only made him curse him before his anger was suppressed.

'So which race has the best forgers among all ten races?'

[The Asura Race]

'Hmph!! Like they would allow me to enter their planets atmosphere after what Draven had done to one of their own.' Jayden scoffed and looked around at the Asuras that were chanting with faces full of vigor.

DARK SOVEREIGN!!! DARK SOVEREIGN!!! DARK SOVEREIGN!!! DARK SOVEREIGN!!! DARK SOVEREIGN!!!

'If they found out what had really happened to the Asura, I doubt they'll still be this...this....whatever this is.' Jayden waved his hands.

'Back to the topic, what would I do to get their interest and make them forge a weapon for Draven?'

[When we get there we'll figure something out, I don't really have much data about them, so I can't say for sure]

Jayden nodded and got to his feets, the instant he rose, the chant changed from 'Dark Sovereign' to 'Metallic Rogue'. He basked in the glory for a few seconds before he began to walk back to the waiting room. He was done with the fight for the day.

As he moved, Draven suddenly burst into a dark and thick cloud of shadows and slipped into Jayden's shadow swiftly.

Jayden watched with intrigue and asked. 'I've been meaning to ask.' Jayden started. 'Where did Draven learn all this new Shadow skills, and how did he learn to control Demonic Energy that well?' Jayden asked as he remembered how Draven had easily copied the Asura's energy technique, and used it against him.

[His Shadow skills are gotten from each evolution, anytime he evolves, he has a chance of unlocking new skills]

Nahshon explained.

[And as for the Demonic Energy control, he learnt them through the memories of the Ascending Fallen Angel whose Demonic Energy he used to create his]

Jayden furrowed his eyebrows and asked, still not fully grasping what Nahshon was saying. 'But how did he copy the Fallen Angel's techniques from the sword?'

[Sigh!! Do you remember the Ascending Fallen Angel's cultivation technique?]

'Hmm.' Jayden replied. 'They transfer their Demonic Energy into a weapon of their choosing, then cultivate Holy Energy.'

[Good. Well, as they transfer the Demonic Energy, they also transfer the memories of how to wield it, so as to not cause problems when they try to harness and control Holy Energy]

'So Draven absorbed those memories and used them to create his techniques.' Jayden completed.

[Bingo!!]

'That's interesting, it's just like when you impart a Martial Art.' Jayden thought as he walked out of the arena. 'One more thing.'

[What's that?]

'How do they know that Draven's a Sovereign Tier Beast?'

[Is it because they call him Sovereign?]

'...' Jayden.

[Figures. Most don't know that, they believe that he's maybe a Monarch Tier Beast suppressing his strength to match the Asura's]

'Huh... Why do they think that?'

[Because it's rare to find a True Sovereign]

Nahshon said, and paused.

'I can feel something interesting brewing.' Jayden thought with a wide grin.

'COME OOON!!! Gist me, what's a True Sovereign?' Jayden said as he sat on his bed in his room, he had gotten there a few minutes ago without any problems.

Jayden knew questions would be raised by the students and teachers if they found him in his room, so he snuck past any human he saw in his way, whether they were students of his school, the other schools, rogue contestants, or wealthy individuals who came on their own.

"OH COME ON!!!' Jayden screamed. When he was just about to get answers, Nahshon was retrieving data. "You just had to do this at the wrong time." Jayden mumbled then began to curse the innocent Nahshson.

"Great!!" He exclaimed.

"Yes." Jayden nodded.
