On getting to the cafeteria, Jayden and Nate passed several sets of tables and chairs to get to the chef serving for the day, Auntie Martha, a well known chef known for her nice interaction with students.

They both grabbed a plate, took their food and then found a place to sit. Jayden focused on his food probably because it was the last thing he would enjoy while his best friend talked non stop about their hunt for the day.

"Say Jayden, how about we split up from the team when we get there so we can gain more from this trip. It's high time we start thinking for ourselves."

"What!! You of all people should know it's a bad idea for rookies to split up during an expedition! Or have you forgotten what happened the last time?" Jayden asked as they both remembered a certain time they where chased by a vengeful Three Headed Hound.

"So... No thank you, I'll pass."

"Whatever!! Have you heard about the planet we're going to today." Nate asked as his mood elevated again.

"No, is it someplace special?" Jayden asked uninterested while desperately trying to cut open his Snapper.

"Of course it is!! It's Planet Euphoria." Nate replied expecting Jayden to be surprised, but what he got was just a raised eyebrow which probably meant, 'Never heard of that place before'.

"You don't know Planet Euphoria!!? Well I'm not surprised, you hate doing research. You probably don't know many things you're supposed to." Nate calmed himself before continuing. "Planet Euphoria is a recently discovered planet, it is said that no matter how many beasts are killed, they don't seem to reduce in number, instead, they increase which has made it the perfect gold mine for rookies like us to hunt and gain experience and Energy Orbs.

Most of the beasts are low ranked and the highest level to have been seen was an Evolved Tier Beast that was easily dispatched by a squad of the Golden Eagle House." Before Nate could continue, Jayden interrupted.

"Hmph, speak of the devil." He snorted and said before discretely pointing in a direction.

Nate turned to look in the direction he pointed and saw a group of students walking into the cafeteria, attracting everyone's attention immediately.

They wore white Bodysuits that clinged to their body frame, covering every part of their well toned physique except their heads, and on their entire left chest was the image of a golden eagle etched there.

Each student belonged to a house and each house had their signature body suits.

The Dark Dusk House for example had purple body suits with an eclipsed sun etched on their left chest.

The students walked with pride on their faces, they where the team who succeeded in killing an Evolved Tier Beast without suffering casualties or even having a scratch on their amours, it was a feat that hadn't been ever achieved by students of the first years.

While looking at them, Jayden felt slightly jealous, his parents were rich folks, but it didn't show on him at all, that was why he barely passed the entrance test and got posted to the worst squad of the worst house, and it was only because of his parents influence that he was even allowed to stay in the school.

Jayden sighed dejectedly before continuing his business of assaulting his breakfast, but before he could do that, a loud voice drew everyone's attention.

"JAYDEN!!!"

Jayden stopped and looked up to see Derrick McCain storming the cafeteria with his goons in tow. He pretended to not hear him and resumed his breakfast, further fanning the flames of Derrick's anger.

"JAYDEN!! ARE YOU DEAF!!? CAN'T YOU HEAR ME!!" He shouted further garnering everyone's attention.

"I heard you, but I don't think I'm obliged to answer you, you're not a teacher or my parents." Jayden's calm voice resounded in the cafeteria, it wasn't loud, but everyone had heard him due to the silence.

Derrick's eyes twitched angrily before he smiled. "I see you've gotten balls of steel right, because you thought you could get away freely after stealing my Energy Orb. Now you think you're not gonna get punished... well you're wrong." Derrick paused and took a step forward, he placed his leg on a chair and leaned forward to be at face level with Jayden. "You know I can make you disappear and no one, not even your parents, can do a thing about it."

Jayden's heartbeat increased significantly as he clenched his fists, but he didn't show his worry on his face because he didn't want Derrick to believe he could make him cower in fear.

"Not scared are you? Just so you know, you have a chance to beg me right now in front of everyone and I'll forgive your misdeed." Derrick said in a loud voice to make everyone hear him properly, he wanted to humiliate Jayden in front of everyone because it was a first for someone to disobey him.

Since he had been born, he hadn't been ever denied anything he asked for, and seeing Jayden on that day, walk away with his Energy Orb had seriously angered him.

'Does he think this is some drama, I'll walk around the school naked if I do something as stupid as apologizing to him.' Jayden thought. 'It definitely won't end with just this apology, he'll blackmail me and force me to do some crazy shit later on all in the name of his mercy'.

He stood up and looked around to see everyone staring in their direction. Derrick who was a little bit taller than Jayden stood up straight and raised his head high, his nose almost touching the sky, expecting an apology.

"You're really stupid if you think I'm going to apologize." Jayden shouted.

Derrick immediately looked down in shock, but what met him was a plate of food smashing heavily on his face.

Jayden immediately picked the box that he came with to the cafeteria and pressed a red button on it, it came up, broke apart and reformed on his body almost instantly, covering his whole body with metal.

His Mech Suit was activated!

Jayden grabbed Nate by his waist and easily placed him on his shoulder, he picked up his Mech Suit container from the ground and dashed out of the cafeteria faster than a racecar.

Everyone was still processing what just happened and did not react until Derrick screamed.

"After him, I'm gonna kill that bastard!!"
