Dark Nova

Jayden floated for some time before descending to the ground, just to be met with a claw swipe to his face.

"Why can't you give me a break?!!!" Jayden said with annoyance, he had been fighting nonstop for the past two hours and hadn't rested his hands, he could use energy to temporarily increase his stamina, but he was already running out of energy.

The Rat Kin that had the guts to attack him, retreated when Jayden erupted with the copied technique of the Ascending Fallen Angel.

"Let's end this." Jayden said as he shot to the air again using his Jetpacks. His energy was just a little bit over thirty percent and was enough for what he wanted to do.

"That should do it." His killing intent blocked the view of the fighters around him, but the spectators –through the screen– could see what was going on clearly and were loosing their shit.

"Is he gonna.... Blow up the whole Arena."

"Oh no, he's finally gone insane."

"This...this..is so exhilarating I think I'm gonna cum." An Ustapian said while fondling herself and moaning loudly. Those around her slowly backed away with twisted expressions on their faces.

"YEAHHHHH!!!! THIS IS A REAL BATTLE PEOPLE!!!! WOOOHOOOO!!!. Cough cough." A female goblin that looked too old to be in a place like this –probably a grandma already– was screaming frantically and showing her toothless mouth with saliva splashing on the faces of those nearby.

In an office where a tentacled creature was sitting and watching the tournament through a screen, the creature suddenly gasped and sat up from its slouching posture.

"That should be uhmm... What was his name again." The Garrion went through a series of files on a holographic screen before stopping.

"Yeah, The Metallic Rogue. Is he fucking trying to destroy the Arena, it was a miracle that the defensive mechanism of the test area was strong enough to block his one hand attack and didnt outright melt down. And now he's using his two hands. BASTARD!!!!"

Unperturbed by the consequences of his actions, Jayden turned his two hands into a single large cannon, much bigger than any he had ever created.

He began to pump energy into it, all his contained anger was suddenly released again, turning the killing intent into a more darker shade of black.

All his frustration about his parents treatment, the bullying he had to endure from Derrick, his near death instances, the sudden death of Draven, and now, this Rat Kin that had opened up the bottle sealing his rage with its dumb antics. Jayden was going to let it all out, he was going to let them feel his rage.

The energy was building up in his arms, it was stirring the space around him and causing heated ripples to spread out in an omnidirectional wave. His black Rogue Suit had its purple lines –made from its gems– light up, Jaydens killing intent soared and began to slowly seep into his hands unknown to him. It mixed with the energy building up and was turning it dark, a stark contrast to its normal white hue.

The energy contained was beginning to get unstable, it was shaking the area around him causing small tears in the space around.

In the space were principal Luka and the other House master's sat, they had settled their scores by some unknown means, but the teachers were still pale from fright. Duke and Ajax had burnt marks covering their bodies though.

Principal Luka still had his mug of coffee cradled in his hands while Ajax was glaring at him and Duke, alternating between them each minute. Lilly had refused to sit with them and was sitting far way watching peacefully, with a cup of coffee offered to her by principal Luka.

Diana didn't mind the quad, at least Ajax wasn't threatening anyone and Lilly was screaming in a corner.

This silence went on for a while until the sound of glass breaking was heard.

Ajax who was staring at Duke turned his head to the sound, Lilly startled a little, spilt hot coffee over herself and glared at who had scared her. Diana wasn't any different, they all stared at the cause of the sound and were surprised to see principal Luka with a grim expression on his face.

"Stop the fight."

"On it." A1 didn't ask questions and immediately dashed towards the door, but was stopped by a wall of flames suddenly sprouting from the ground.

"Like hell I'm going to let that happen!!" Ajax was quick to react and blocked the robots path with blistering red flames. He smiled and said. "Your so called hero is about to do something that might hurt him right? So you want to stop the fight and save him to prevent it. Hahaha, you're so pathetic, that expression on your face is priceless."

"I'm doing it for your own good, your hero will die when that attack reaches him, mine won't. I'm doing this because I don't want my Hero to lose a rival and start slacking when I begin to train him. So you better get out of the way if you value your hero's life." Principal Luka said while clenching his fists.

"Hahaha, this is fun. I've never seen Luka look so worried before, I made the right decision by coming here after all." Lilly spoke with a smile, but this time, the smile looked evil.

On the right side of her face, black tattoos could be seen covering it and disappearing beneath her gown, her two eyes were a dark green without the white showing, and a dark green ankh was etched beneath her right eye.

"Thorn, so you've finally decided to come out." Diana addressed the new looking Lilly with a frown.

'She's released her alter ego.' The teachers thought and unanimously began to back away.

"Now is not the time to be getting all chummy, your heroes are in danger." Principal Luka warned again.

"Ohhhh.... I love seeing you in despair. It makes me so so happy." Thorn said again further angering principal Luka and the ignored Diana.

"Hehehehe, your hero will die before he even became one." Ajax said.

"Sigh, There's no use, they're going to die...." Principal Luka sighed and glanced at Jayden hovering in the air. "....without knowing how."

Just then, they all turned their heads with different expressions on their faces, Ajax grinning, Thorn smiling, Diana frowning and Duke expressionless and heard Jayden shouting out.

"DARK NOVA!!!"

And then.....everything in a fan shaped area before him was turned to dust.
