HE IS HEARTLESS

As he entered the factory, those who were idle began to sarcastically found things to do at his command.

"Are you just gonna sit there doing nothing uh?"

A young girl who is still in college out of fear mistakenly dropped a package of perfume that contained over fifty perfumes.

"Who did that?" Daniel was furious.

The girl began to shake and was sweating. She knows the penalty for her mistake, she knows Daniel would not forgive her.

She knows fully well that she would be fired and this is what is sustaining her and her sister. But against all odds, she summons the courage to speak the truth. She didn't want to put anyone in a problem.

"Sir...I was the...one that...dropped it...I am sorry" She said stammering and shivering with fear.

One word Daniel despises is what she just uttered, 'sorry'.

"You are sorry, huh? Well, I have nothing to say to you poor girl but note, I won't sack you, but you'll continue working here. Just know that you won't receive your salary until the money to pay for the damage is complete. If you run away, I'll find you". Daniel scoffed.

Everyone's mouth is opened as they are supposed to the new penalty. They know he is heartless but they are not aware that he is this heartless.

' This is the worst penalty, my salary is nothing compared to the cost of the product. It cost one million, where will I get the money from? ' She thinks.

She begins to cry and she dared not beg for mercy, her name is Eva. She can't just get herself together and also a record, she passed out.

Someone brings a cup of water and Daniel nonchalantly walks away. When the water is poured on her, she becomes conscious again.

She begins to sob again, she is just so miserable today. At the close of the day, she like every other worker went to their respective homes.

She is so lucky that her sister is at home. Her name is Moon, she is attractive. Moon plays with the hair of her puppy's skin.

Moon has blue eyes, she is short and she never packs her brown hair. And also, she never backs down.

She sees Eva crying and as a big sister, she asks why she is crying.

" what's the problem Eva? Speak to me" Moon utters. Eva only shakes her head denoting that she is not ready to speak up, but she later gave in.

" Okay, I'll talk, at work today, I accidentally broke a fucking package of perfume that cost a million and so, my bus damn it, that fool came in and saw it" she cursed.

" Is that all ?" Moon inquires.

" I actually thought I would be sacked but for some damn reason, he amortized me"

Moon knows Eva to be an English fan who loves speaking with big phrases ' what does that mean? ' Moon thinks.

She picks up her phone and checked for the meaning of the word. And on seeing it, she became infuriated.

" What the hell ?" she screamed and proceeded "where does your boss expect a college student to get one million from?"

" He's using my salary, he's so wicked"

" No way Eva, we feed ontjat money ever since I lost my job"

Eva can't hold her tears anymore, Moon lowers her puppy on the floor. Her puppy goes by the name Wish.

" I'm so sorry Eva, I guess I should get myself a new employment"

" Thanks sis, but are you sure you'll find one soon?" Eva inquires as she takes in a deep breath.

" Yes I will" Moon tried to motivate herself.
