The Invulnerable Geo Armor Vs Safi'Jiiva

After Getting Back to Teyvat, And a Few Minutes After Crashing.

Shimmer's POV.

"You know, I was expecting this to go a lot worse." I tell Gloom as i look over the hole where we crashed the flying thing we used.

One of the hunters was helping his handler up, "It wasn't that different than riding a Valstrax, but one would certainly land a lot better." He informed.

Gloom looked at the crashed flying machine, "I guess we'll be bringing you back by boat." She decided, clearly not in the mood to do that again, "Anyway, does anyone have a way to find the damned thing?" She asked the hunters and Handlers.

"The usual method is looking for tracks the monsters leave, and from the records it looks like it should leave a mix between two different monster's tracks, so it shouldn't be too difficult to track it down." One of the hunters explained.

"Also it's organs should be hanging out so look for giant blood puddles as well." I instructed before a thought came to my mind, "OH FUCK WE LEFT ALL THE NATIONS TO DEAL ALONE WITH THE MONSTERS!!" I yell in a panic, causing Gloom to also get panicked.

The hunters proceeded to stretch at that information, "So these nations are under attack?" One of them questioned, "Give us some directions and we'll help with defense." An Handler informed.

After I hurriedly gave directions to each nation, the Hunters decided to split up to cover all the terrain they can, leaving me and Gloom with only two Hunters, one male with a pink mohawk and one female with a rainbow armor.

"I guess that leaves us to deal with the weapon." The Pink Haired hunter told his partner, "We defeated so many Fatalis, how much more difficult could this be?" The huntress reminded.

"Aylia and Cotton, we're in good hands." I tell Gloom, who still looked pretty skeptical.

Gloom's POV.

I started walking around the two to inspect them, "Not exactly what I'd expect from professional monster hunters, but you said you defeated many Fatalis, and from what Shimmer said, you must be far stronger than you look." I comment, wondering exactly how they defeated a destroyer of continents.

"Aren't you just a ray of sunshine..." Aylia said, clearly put off by my demeanor, "Anyway, got a location where we can start searching?" She asked.

An hour of walking later, Shimmer and I brought them to the place where I thew the sewn together monster, "This should be a good starting spot." I tell them.

"Okay, so to find it first we have to-" Aylia was sayig before Cotton interrupted, "Found it!" He exclaimed catching our attention.

Hurrying over, I was quite surprised to see that the Equal Dragon Weapon was not only there, but dead too, "What the fuck? Did it bleed out?" I ask in confusion.

Cotton poked the dead monster a bit, "No it's still warm, somehow." He relayed, noting that they are in the coldest place in Teyvat, "Either way, that means that not only didn't bleed out, but it was recently killed." He elaborated to make it simpler.

"So recent, no blood, virtually undamaged..." Shimmer listed, thinking over what it was, "...Oh no..." She said with her eyes glinting in realization, "Safi'Jiiva..." She said, making me frown slightly in concern.

The two Hunters proceeded to inspect the corpse more to make sure and found a large bite mark with the tissue looking like the dead trees that we found earlier today.

"You mean to tell me that there's an energy dragon drunk on whatever powers that thing?" I question the three, hoping it was a negative, but their expressions weren't reassuring, "Now how do we find this one?" I asked.

"I think it found us." Shimmer told me, "How could you possibly know that?" I questioned, "Because it's dive bombing right at us." Shimmer replied, prompting me, Aylia and Cotton to look at where she was, and inded, we saw a crazed looking red dragon falling towards us.

As we looked in silence, Cotton broke it with a "Huh...", before realization sunk in for all of us and I used my tentacles to pull everyone out of the way.

Shimmer's POV.

As Gloom pulled us away, the Safi'Jiiva crash landed where we stood, "Yeah! I think we're fucked!" I exclaimed, noting how it was glowing a multitude of colors instead of cyan.

Standing back up, I immediately activated my Vision, "Copycat! Gear Third!" I exclaim, pulling my arm back ith a tendril of Hydro that I filled with Dendro Cores, "Gomu Gomu no!" I started as I pulled the tendril towards the Safi'Jiiva, "Giant Pistol!!" I exclaim as the Dendro cores crashed against it, causing a huge explosion.

"Did that do anything!?" Cotton exclaimed questioningly, "I wish!" Aylia replied, seeing the Safi'Jiiva come out of the smoke completely unscathed.

Seeing that the monster's head was still covered in smoke, Cotton took advantage of it and rushed in with his Alatreon hammer and slammed it on the monster's skull, causing both it and himself to stumble.

Now having an opening, Aylia rushed in this time, throwing all the weight of her Fatalis Greatsword into a swing a the Safi'Jiiva's foot, "You guys are much more coordinated than I thought!" Gloom compliment as she jumped on the monster's back with her tentacles and then use them to puncture holes into it's wing webbings.

"It won't flyi-" She was saying, but stopped when the webbing regenerated almost immediately, along with the damage Aylia did to it's ankle.

Having healed, the Red Dragon shook Gloom off and started flying, "Oh I recognize this!" Aylia commented, remembering the movements from the other Safi'Jiiva.

"We don't have anything sturdy to hide behind this time!" Cotton told us, making me realize that it was using the Sapphire of the Emperor.

Weighing the options, Gloom tried making a shield with her tentacles, but I knew it wouldn't be enough.

"Oh screw the secrecy!" I exclaim, reaching in my pocket and pulling out a Geo Delusion that I clipped to the collar of my top, "Geo Armor!" I exclaim causing Geo energy to float around, "Goliath!" I finish, causing a large armor made of stone to cover me, and using Hydro I manage to move it with almost no issue.

Making a Dendro core under my foot, I blew it up to launch myself at the Safi'Jiiva right as it opened it's mouth, at which I punched the roof of it's mouth, stopping the attack all together.

Landing back down, Gloom ran up to me, "You God damned liar!" She exclaimed, "You did have another Delusion!" She pointed at me in accusation.

I point at Gloom in retaliation, "You didn't tell me we could make machines like that with our wands!" I retort, "That doesn't make any sense!" Gloom points out in stupor.

"Sorry to interrupt this lovers quarrel, but mind helping us!?" Cotton questioned while slamming his hammer over and over on the monster's head, keeping it stunned, while Aylia stood on it's back cutting away at it's wings.

Gloom's POV.

Looking at each other, me and Shimmer nodded at our mutual idea, so Shimmer balled up into a Geo sphere and I lifted her with a collection of tentacles, then I charged the Geo stones with Electro before leaping up and slinging Shimmer like a cannon ball at the Safi'Jiiva.

Seeing the quickly approaching projectile, Cotton and Aylia moved out of the way to leave the monster alone to get hit.

At the moment of impact, I had to cover my eyes after the Electro explosion let out a blinding light, when it went away, i saw Shimmer back in the normal shape of the Geo Armor, but it dropped a moment after.

"Are you okay!?" I asked worriedly as I ran up to her, "Tonight I wanna cuddle." Shimmer replied, holding her arm up with her finger pointing up, before letting it drop to her side, "Fair enough." I concede, lifting my very tired girlfriend up, "You know? That armor thing was actually a good one." I compliment, prompting Shimmer to give me a kiss on the cheek before limping back in my arms.

"Hey...! It's alive!" Cotton told us, causing me to turn back, letting Shimmer see too that the Safi'Jiiva was shakingly getting up, much to our annoyance.

That would have been the case if not that all of a sudden it got jumped by Rajangs, Bazelgeuses, Malzenos, Valstraxs and Amatsus, "I don't think it's getting up after this." I reassure, covering Shimmer's eyes so she didn't have to see the carnage.
